    The Shannara Chronicles season 1 Redemption

    I received my copy of The Shannara Chronicles season 1 Blu-Ray from walmart.com yesterday. It came with a UV code. I am not seeing a redemption link for the code in Vudu. Will the redemption link be added in the near future?

    I assumed since this was an MTV show it wouldn't get a blu ray release so I bought it off VUDU. I was excited to see this get a blu + digital release because I figured that the show would become UV enabled so it would share with the other people in my account but sadly it looks like this is going the way of Preacher where an ultraviolet code is included but for some reason VUDU won't or can't uv enable these shows. I'm guessing the same will happen with Animal Kingdom when that gets released which really sucks since uv was the only reason I started doing digital. With missing episodes from series, missing seasons, sd only for some films and series when other places have them in hd, and now they seem to be dropping uv on series that should have them I'm really starting to worry about VUDU's longevity. VUDU is my preferred streaming service so I really hope things start to turn around for the better soon.

      Yeah, I got my Blu-ray set yesterday as well. I haven't even attempted to enter the code as I see it's not UV on VUDU at all. Heck, it's not even on any other UV sites except for Paramount (which really doesn't count cause you can only watch it off the website). Unfortunately, I'm a victim of Preacher Season one as well. I really don't get it, they want to push digital SOOOOO badly, but yet there are tons of titles with digital codes that just don't work, or are only available on 1 site. I remember Venture Bros Season 5 (a flixster redemption) took months before it finally showed up in my VUDU. Hopefully that's the case with Shannara (and Preacher) too.

          Still no update on this? I don't understand the point of shows that are uv but the rights are an argument. Either your UV Or your not UV it can't be both ways. Paramount needs to get their act together and pass rights to vudu and other places.

            Hopefully this gets turned on soon. We had Preacher Season 1 go live at the beginning of the year, and I had my director's cut of Final Fantasy VII Complete go a few days ago as well (when only the theatrical cut was recognized for a while)...so I know they are picking up "not so fresh" titles here and there as they can. *fingers crossed*

              Any news on this? I redeemed my copy in Paramount just like Scorpion: Season 1.

              When are you guys going to have the season UV enabled.

                Also wondering when this will be available?

                Didn't realize it has been almost 2 months since the release date already!

                If there won't be a redemption page on vudu, will it at least be UV enabled?

                          Seriously where is the redeem link for Shannara Season One and why is the UV site emblem gone from Shannara as well both were on there earlier this year I was there the day a friend of mine got his Bluray+Digital set and then redeemed the code into both Vudu and his UV account. I have recently bought the same and now I find out it is not redeeming on here and even the UV emblem has been removed from the Shannara site. One of the main reasons I ordered it from Walmart was so I could redeem it on here.
                          So I am holding a worthless piece of paper I paid for instead of a digital redemption code for an entire TV season.
