    Lionsgate just added the missing Expendables 1 theatrical in UHD to my UV.

    Now back to the previous question. What to do about redeeming 2 & 3 from UHD combo packs.

    Exactly

    I got Expendables 1, 2 and 3 today on UHD disc.

    For Expendables 1 unrated it redeemed correctly as UHD in my UV locker but doesn't show in Vudu. For the theatrical I couldn't redeem at all, just for a weird error. I contact Lionsgate and they got back to me immediately and said they show code was redeemed and in my UV locker. I sent them screenshots showing that want the case so they again got back to me and said they need to research as HD wasn't in my locker.

    FYI titles were redeemed as directed in the Excel file as discussed in the forums.

    Now I'm sitting on Expendables 2 & 3 until things get more cleaned up with Lionsgate.

    Felipe or someone from VUDU can answer this?
    Expendables 2 shows available in UHD in VUDU. But yet I've been told that the Expendables 2 code that came with the 4K bluray only redeems in HD. Is that a glitch? Or will that be fixed

    So does that mean if we don't the UV slip from the UHD package until Vudu gets the titles in UHD then it will automatically redeem as UHD, "OR" do you still have to contact Lionsgate regardless.

    I'm wondering if it's better to just sit on the slips until Vudu adds the titles in UHD, or is better to redeem them now and have them only appear as HD (which I already have from older Blu-Ray).

    Thoughts ?

    Thank you for your request for an update. We apologize; however, at this time we have been provided no additional details on when VUDU expects the UHD redemption/versions to be available for these or any other LionsGate titles.

    While the 4K Blu-ray releases from LionsGate indicate both on the packaging and the insert they include a Digital - HD (DHD) transfer, and not a Ultra High Definition transfer (UHD), LionsGate will be supporting the UHD transfer once available for redemption through the VUDU service.

    Until that time you are receiving the HD version as advertised on the packaging and insert.

    We appreciate your comments, but do not have any additional information to provide at this time.

    For Lionsgate I don't believe so, but this is purely speculative. Reps at Lionsgate say they are working with Vudu to get UHD redemptions up soon.

    As for Fox, there seems to be an exclusivity deal with FandangoNow.

    I buy all my movies from Vudu. I am entirely digital. I have been holding out on buying any new movies until Vudu addresses how UHD content will be distributed. Can we redeem codes? Can we upgrade if we own film in HDX? How long before a new HDX title become available in UHD? Etc. I would at least appreciate a moderator clarifying some of these issues.

    Any update on this? So many movies that we're missing out on. Hunger Games Saga, Hacksaw Ridge, La La Land, John Wick, Deepwater Horizon. Please stop shunning your UHD clientele and make some deals. There is not enough content available.

    • Hacksaw Ridge
    • Deepwater Horizon
    • Patriots Day

    Vudu, please work it out with Lionsgate to offer their titles in UHD.
