Unfortunately this type situation stinks as we never know when to snag a title before it is unavailable... And we may snag a different title with our money that will not ever become unavailable...

Its good information, VUDU has slowly began to OFFER some of these titles in HDX. However that's all it is, AN OFFER. They will require you to repurchase them again @ the HDX level. They will only upgrade SD to HDX if it is an error from the studio. Just remember to always purchase your new Blu-ray movies on a separate individual receipt and tuck that receipt in with the titled Blu-ray movie. This is advice for those who do their own D2D conversions at home when the movie becomes eligible. As everyone has experienced there are quite a few Blu-rays that redeem as SD which would be an error if the HDX is available. Submitting pictures of your Blu-rays proving ownership will no longer guarantee the SD upgrade to HDX. VUDU will require a receipt, no exceptions. Even with all the correct credentials it may still take up to 4 months or longer to effect a repair by VUDU, just a heads up.
