Question About Certain Films Having Studio Name in Actual Title

I've been curious about why some titles have the studio name in it? It's rather annoying as I have my library sorted from A-Z. For example, I had picked up the new Power Rangers movie, redeemed the digital code, scrolled to the P's and panicked when I couldn't find it, thinking maybe it glitched upon the redemption. Had to search for it by "Purchase Time" and realized it was listed in the S's under "Saban's Power Rangers". It then reminded me how annoyingly, Marvel's The Avengers is listed under the M's while Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is listed appropriately under the A's. Where as iTunes groups these two Avengers movies together in the A's, as I would think (and like) it to be on VUDU.

So I've just always wondered is there any particular good reason why VUDU lists certain movies this way? Otherwise, your library order is near perfect compared to other digital services.

Sin City and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Die For is another example.

Another one that is in the wrong place is "An Officer and a Gentleman". It should be down in the Os, but it's in the As instead. It should, and for the most part does, ignore articles like a, an, the, etc. But, it's minor for this one, just thought I'd mention it isn't always a studio name that makes a movie list in the wrong place.

Another one that's annoying for me. I would like The Return of Jafar/ Aladdin and the King of Thieves bundle listed under Aladdin next to the original Aladdin instead of listed under Return of Jafar.

Great example with Sin City and it's sequel. That one annoys me too why they're not together.

So no official response from VUDU support/moderator why things like this slip by?

The new Power Rangers movie was titled just "Power Rangers" when it was first added, then eventually changed to "Saban's". The same thing with some Tyler Perry movies, why do we need studio/director/writer names in titles?

I noticed similar behavior with the Vacation movies. The original Vacation, Christmas Vacation and European Vacation are sorted under N for National Lampoon's Vacation, while Vegas Vacation is sorted under V. You can also add Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, but I like how it is sorted next to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

IMHO its just a question of how the movie was marketed. I'm a little surprised that Bram Stoker's Dracula is sorted under D.
