Why does VUDU have all these UV Redeem Links if they want you to redeem via Studio? VUDU support is telling me my codes are not VUDU promotions so they can't help:

    First Response:

"Thank you for sending us the pictures of your promotion coupons. It shows that the code must be redeemed at

    ultraviolet.flixter.com

This means that the code is not a VUDU promotions code so we cannot redeem the code for you.

Please try redeeming the code at the site above. If you still receive the error, please contact Flixter or UltraViolet support for assistance. Once the movie shows up on your UV account, you should see it on VUDU about 24 hours later.

    Thanks!,

Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

I would redeem every code i have that is universal or sony on their website. Sony offers a hd upgrade option now and with Universal if you do get sd out of a blu-ray they are able to fix it. Warner brothers no luck there. With codes that don't work vudu can't fix them even thou they do offer a redemption site. Believe me I have tried to get them to fix it. Your better off contacting sony over the phone, they are quite helpful.

Good Luck getting flixster to do anything about it.

It appears Universal will only fix getting an SD version from a blu-ray if the HD is available. In the past, I've been told that they don't offer an HD version for some movies and the SD is the only option available even though the code came from a Blu-ray.

It's a blu-ray. Sure, if WB will allow me to redeem it.

Looks like it will be HDX but I'll have to wait until it actually shows up on my Vudu list. According to UVVU.com my code was good for both "standard and high definition".

I went ahead and redeemed LOA on Sony. This is crazy - I redeemed this morning and it still has not shown up in My VUDU library. However, it is shown in one of My UV Members VUDU account, in my UVVU account, in my CinemaNow account but not my VUDU account. Been trying to check Flixster all day but it does not finish the "Checking Ultraviolet for new titles" update.

Lawrence Of Arabia - HDX from Sony.
