Man, thats awful! Codes from Blu-ray should get both version in HDX. Contact them - Sony is good about correcting this. Send a pic of your BD case UPC code and the UV Code.

I would call Sony Pictures at 1-800-860-2878 their hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm CT and Sat-Sun 10am to 2pm CT. You should have the Blu-ray case and the UV code handy.

Interesting it was 3D Blu-Ray and 2D Blu-Ray on one disc, no DVD copy and BOTH iTunes and Ultraviolet digital copies. THIS is how it SHOULD be !

Seal Team Six from anchor bay has a bonus Vudu copy on the dvd and on the Blu-ray has anyone purchased this and redeemed it to find out what format you get?

Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

I went ahead and bought the Blu-ray version with the digital code. I expect and as I believe everyone who buys a movie that has a dvd + Blu-ray equivalent that if you buy the Blu-ray you will indeed get a HD digital copy. Otherwise I could pay 6.00 less and just get the sd version. I got Sd. I sent in a ticket and hopefully everyone else that gets sd from Blu-ray purchases complain because I get told when the code begins with V its a vudu code and its up to them to make sure people are satisfied with the arrangement. The sticker states the terms and conditions see inside. Well you can't see them until you open it and to open it you have to buy it. The code itself does not say a format at all. It just gives the code. So there is nothing stating your just getting SD or your getting HD which is not cool to begin with.

So if your thinking of buying this movie in hopes you could get a HD digital copy then you won't unless it gets resolved by a ticket.

The movie is not uv so I can't just fix it for 2.00 or I would. I can't upgrade it because that option doesn't exist. Just frustrated because I want my entire collection to be HD but some movies don't have them and I can accept that but this movie is well passed and this is an anchor bay title and a lot of their movies are HD so why do they do this? Just makes me not want to buy any more of these movies because nothing is clear.

Recently redeemed both Crazy, Stupid, Love and Horrible Bosses via Vudu only to receive SD. I've read here that some people are receiving hdx. I want to know if I should ask WB or VUDU customer service so that they may be upgraded to HDX? Or even flixster? Thanks in advance.

I don't understand why Anchor Bay didn't include an UV insert for Seal Team Six and all retail channels get the code insert. They should at least give Best Buy customers CinemaNow codes at the register when they buy it. In my area major movies get sold out at Wal-mart fast and then Sam's Club doesn't always carry Blu-rays.

Places like Walmart and Best Buy want everybody pre-ordering this stuff. Walmart, especially, which is why they entice with the Vudu offers. It's hard to find places you can just walk into to buy new titles at a good price.

You can upgrade Horrible Bosses to HDX by doing D2D on CinemaNow and it will cost you $5. It will then transfer to your Ultra-Violet account then to your Vudu account in seconds.

I could do that but it would defeat the purpose of having bought the bluray and redeemed it so that I get SD quality. Besides if others are getting it in HDX it would imply that it's a glitch given the inconsistency.

I have bought some Blu-ray movies at Best Buy because of the upgrade and save coupon and I noticed that my Best Buy had a display of movies that would give you a CinemaNow code to watch on CinemaNow and the ones I bought transferred to my Vudu account. Pay attention the cashier doesn't ignore the register prompt for your email address to send the code. The code also prints on the register receipt. The following movies are on the display or when I bought them it asked if I wanted the code.

                            Inside Man
                            King Kong
                            The Big Lebowski
                            National Lampoon's Animal House
                            The Breakfast Club
                            Scarface
                            Casino
                            Inglourious Basterds
                            Friday Night Lights
                            Forgetting Sarah Marshall
                            Green Zone
                            Uncle Buck
                            Couples Retreat

There more movies that come with the code I just can't remember them. A lot of these movies are available for Vudu Disc to Digital but this way it would be free. I don't know how long the program will run.

I figured out why Seal Team Six didn't come with a UV code. It is available right to stream in HD on Netflix. http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Se...?trkid=2361637

Thanks for the tip. I have 6 Warner Blu-rays that came with UV copies that are in SD. Crazy Stupid Love, Dolphin Tale, Green Lantern, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2, and Journey 2. Of those only Harry Potter Part 1 is available on Vudu D2D. I tried the others on CinemaNow D2D and all were available for D2D in HD from the DVD except Journey 2 (which I couldn't test because I didn't get the combo pack) and Crazy Stupid Love which is only available in SD oddly. I will wait to see if these titles are added to the Vudu at home D2D service but if not I will just upgrade the DVD's through CinemaNow. I know I shouldn't have to since I should have HD rights anyway but I doubt Warner will do anything to throw early adopters like myself a bone. Also even if I wanted I couldn't buy most of these titles in HD Ultraviolet so this may be the only option.
