I warned this thread that for some reason flixster is giving HDX yet vudu is giving SD on this movie. I've put in a support ticket that is giving me the well the studio is only giving sd. Well that is simply not true. Why on earth would flixster get HD and vudu get sd on blu-ray codes????????????

I agree with you, it does not make any sense.

              Hello Alexindenver,

We only give out what we are allowed to by the motion picture studios.

Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

I learned with the Jurassic Park incident that we should all redeem codes through the following to get HDX with vudu:

                  1- Studio
                  2-Flixster
                  3-Vudu

in that order. You will be happier in the long run if you follow the order

I dont know if this is in the right thread but Annie 30th Anniversary was originally Sd only but mine has just been automatically converted to HDX now.

I also noticed the Artist is available for HDX now but my sd version has not upgraded

Annie upgraded for me too and jumped to the top of my movie page. A good reason to always check what version Vudu has before redeeming a code through them. I learned the hard way with Les Miserables (the old one from Sony, not the new one from Universal). I redeemed via Vudu and then noticed vudu only had SD rights so that's all they gave me in UVVU. Luckily Sony was able to fix it for me, but still. Much easier just to check first.

Did your UV locker also upgrade? I had The Lucky One upgraded to HDX on VUDU but UV locker reflects SD only.

Good idea to check to make sure it has the correct info, takes a min at UVVU.com to do so

Not UV but iTunes question. Should I have gotten HD for Lincoln in iTunes. Code was from Blu-ray. Thanks. Another reason why I hate iTunes.
