Took DVD To WalMart for 5 Free Movie Promo - Still Waiting!

I took my DVD in today and it was immediately uploaded to my account - no problems there. However, more than 2 hours later I am still waiting for my 5 Free Movie promo redemption to arrive, but my email inbox remains empty.

How long does this usually take?

Not sure if it's the same as back in June, but they added the link to the five movie promo to the "My Account" section of Vudu towards the bottom. Check there for a link.

No - no dice. I am supposed to receive some type of redemption code in my email to redeem, but have yet to receive it. I'm pretty irritated because I wanted to watch a couple movies this rainy afternoon - and now I have to go thru the forums to figger this stuff out!

My free movies were in a link under "my account" > "account info".

Yeah - I checked and there is nothing there. I'm pretty p1$$ed, actually because the website made this out to be a simple transaction. ANd of course there are no live operators to talk to - at least that I am aware of - to get this sorted out quickly. That's where most of my frustration is.

I didn't read my email close enough. I sent it to trash and was about to complain the other day but I double checked my trash folder and found it.

It should start something like this...

Thank you for your Disk-to-Digital transaction. Your purchase receipt is included below.

Thank you for participating in Walmart Entertainment's Disc-to-Digital program. As a token of our appreciation, you get 5 free movies. Click here to redeem this offer.

((((and then show your list of movies below sort of like this...)))

            Type Title Quality

            1 Blu-Ray The Shawshank Redemption HDX $ 2.00
            2 Blu-Ray Cast Away HDX $ 2.00
            3 Blu-Ray The Eagle (Unrated) HDX $ 2.00

Thanks for that. I received no such email. Just a receipt:

Thank you for your Disk-to-Digital transaction. Your purchase receipt is included below.

Note: A (free) linked Ultraviolet account is required to enjoy your movies.

1 DVD Blade Runner: The Final Cut HDX $ 5.00

Nothing about complimentary movies. No response by VUDU to my complaint. I am not so sure VUDU is for me.

Not sure if this helps but click the support tab, click your cases. See if an answer is in there.

I have 3 support tickets that were sent in and all 3 were closed with no reply to my issue. Very frustrating!
