D2D Was in Flixster dropped out now its back?

I converted The Sound of Music to digital and it was available and working in Flixster right away. I used Vudu to download it to my laptop to see what kind of quality I got. I was very pleased with the HDX results. The odd thing that happened was that the movie was now showing in the movies not yet available on Flixster list?? That lasted for about three days and I was trying to open a support request on Flixster but never got it done. As of today it's back in my flixster list and working fine on my android devices.

Has this happened to anyone else? Will the same thing happen if I download any other titles? I just started converting my favorite movies for use on my tablet, phone and TV so I am new to this.

Alpha Dog dropped out of my Flixster into the unavailable section for quite a while (a few weeks actually) before returning. I wouldn't worry about it. It rarely happens, and when it does, it eventually returns.

I had the same problem a month or so ago with a dozen or so D2D movies I redeemed. I had to go through a huge 2-week ordeal between Flixster, Ultraviolet, and VUDU and eventually, they all came back.

My Cowboys and Aliens has been removed from Flixster. Also no longer found on Vudu as rental and purchase.

I also just noticed Tower Heist and Cowboys & Aliens went missing from my Vudu account.

EDIT: Tower Heist is back. Cowboys & Aliens still missing.

The more I read on this forum the more I realize that this is happening for all kinds of reasons. Studio rights granted and then withdrawn who knows why? Search the forums long enough you will most likely find an answer. But it's very frustrating!

One of my primary reasons for doing D2D was to have my movies available on my tablet and cell phone. Both Android devices. And the ability to download the movies for times when I am not at a Hotspot. At this point I have 61 movies that I have converted or already owned, just added two today. Out of those 11 are not available (yet?) on Flixster. I purchased some copies on Vudu in HDX that also make up some of the 11. Wouldn't it make sense for Vudu to show an Icon for Flixster compatibility on all of the movies that can be played? Especially when you are setting up your D2D list to take to Walmart. It might have stopped me from converting some of these now if I had known they weren't going to be available.

I wish vudu would make an app for the iPad that would let you download movies to the device.

Vudu only streams. Flixster allows downloading of most, but not all movies.
