    Walmart selling packaged Prometheus codes with promise to ship the combo at release.

    I saw Prometheus at Walmart today in what looked like Blu-ray packaging for $24.96 and noticed it just had a Vudu code with no disc. On the packaging it says when you register the digital copy Vudu will mail you the combo pack at release. Kinda cool. I wonder if Walmart will do the same with their other Fox Digital HD releases.

            I bought this today. It's a basic blu ray package. Inside it's a cardboard cutout of a disc where a blu ray goes. It also has the insert in it with the code and expiration date (10/12/14). The code only works for vudu (which I think is true for all of the Walmart exclusive vudu codes), so no itunes copy. When you redeem the code on Vudu it takes you to an extra screen where you verify your shipping address. It says the movie will be delivered on or around 10/11/12.

                  Bought my copy today from Walmart in Farmville Virginia... Activation code was bogus.. Was told to go back and get another copy, so I did.. Another bogus code.. Why is Walmart selling Prometheus with bogus activation codes?

                        So you all have a MASSIVE problem with these activation codes? Well guess what.. The problem is getting more massive by the hour, because nobody has told Walmart to stop selling the movie. When do we all finally get the new activation codes? After the disc gets here?

                          Wish I had waited until the release. I tried my code and the code worked, sort of, and it showed up in my account. I clicked on redeem and got an error. I have contacted support. Now today I check and it is not even showing up in my account.
