    Classic Cartoons now UV?

Not sure if anyone noticed, but over on the Flixster redeem page there are a bunch of classic cartoons that are now up to redeem for UV. The Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and some others I can't remember. Problem is, some of these have been out for a while now (some date back to 2004.) I'd like to add some of these, but I want to make sure I'm buying the ones with the UV codes and not the old versions.

I tried contacting Flixster support and they were less than helpful (told me to look for the UV logo when I buy.) Other than stating the obvious, they provided no insight. I replied and said that the UV logo isn't always on the package, just like it wasn't for the Superman/Batman bundle recently. I also asked if they'd provide a code if I purchased one that didn't end up having a code, with a copy of my receipt and they told me they don't have codes. Funny, because when the same thing happened with Batman The Animated Series, THEY were the ones that gave me a replacement code.

Sorry for the long post, but does anyone have any advice on this? I know some titles are being released as Wal-Mart exclusives, but I can't find anything on Wal-Mart's website either. So if anyone has gotten any of these, or has any ideas, please reply and give me any info you can.

I went to wal-mart today about 8 of those new cartoons had uv logos on them. The store had about 17 boxes on the ground filling shelves as they told me they sent out everything in their store. Not only did they have new uv stuff they had all sorts of deals with new disk to digital coupons on them. Some of the movies (blu-ray were) 7.88 + 4 dollars worth of coupons.

I guess the best one was Mortal Kombat, however it was still a good deal to pick up a blu-ray under 4.00 in theory new.

I feel your pain because i have wanted to buy nikita season 2, person of interest and a few other tv shows but nowhere on the box does it show uv and yet people tell me they are inside them and the customer service from flixster is rediculous

So we just have to scour Walmart DVDs and Blu-rays to look for the UV or Vudu sticker?

ok what they had was the 4 hour cartoon network stuff.

same with the villians pack with the joker 9.99

they had ninjago season 1 it was 14.99
nothing on scooby doo season 1 + 2 or season 3
there was anothe scooby doo that had it on it.
Several cartoon network shows i hadn't seen.

The dark knight part 1 cartoon also had a 4.00 off disk to digital which is new too.
Just about every movie from 2012 in dvd format was around 12.99 and had 4.00 off disk to digtal on it.

including the rare to kill a mockingbird blu-ray + dvd + digital copy it had 4.00 coupon on it and was priced at 14.96 instead of the 24.99 i've seen in the past.

Thanks for the great info! I went to Target and they had a couple of titles, but saw nothing with the UV logo on it. I guess I'll head on out to Wal-Mart and see what I can find. If I buy any of them, I'll post my results on here so you all know what to look for.

On a side not I picked up the Batman Super Villains Joker's Last Laugh and there was no code inside. Contacting WB support as we speak

              Re: Classic Cartoons now UV?

I picked up these titles today from one of my walmarts...

              The Regular Show: Slack Pack
Adventure Time: My Two Favorite People
Adventure Time: It Came From the Nightosphere
4 Kids Favorites: The Hall of Fame Collection

I can confirm all came with a UV code as advertised on the boxes. All worked too except Regular Show. Vudu doesnt have it available yet to redeem on their site and flixster doesnt seem to be working at all for me. Code is still good but flixster is just down for me.

I saw a few others there, Looney Tunes Platinum Collection, Ninjago Season 1, Batman Joker Super Villains. I didnt see any of the hanna barbera stuff with uv codes.

Will try another walmart for Amazing Gumball and others maybe tomorrow.

The Batman titles were all Walmart exclusives before. Just the copies with UV codes, not all pressings. These newer ones are probably the same. UV stickers at Walmart, no UV at other stores.

                  Re: Classic Cartoons now UV?

Here's a quick update, I went to Wal-Mart today and purchased several of these titles. Unfortunately, only the Looney Tunes Platinum Edition had the UV insert inside. Code inserts were missing for Scooby-Doo Where Are You and Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection. All these titles were grouped together at the store with UV stickers everywhere, but no inserts inside.

Good news is, every time I have contacted Flixster customer support in the past, as long as I provide a photo with my receipt along with the cover art they give me a new code. These are all WB titles, so I always go through Flixster since they're run by WB.

On a side note, these are pretty much all DVD releases and will almost certainly all redeem as SD no matter where you enter your code. I can confirm that Looney Tunes Platinum Collection Vol. 1 redeemed SD through VUDU.

I would love to buy blu-rays of these shows and have HD/HDX vudu/UV quality videos for streaming. I guess I will have to wait a bit longer for this.

Picked up 3 from my Walmart. Looney Tunes VOlume 1, Joker and Cartoon Network. They had nearly all the releases, but some had no sticker on them (Flintstones, Tom & Jerry), so I passed on them for now.

Just wanted to post a little update. I posted earlier that I was missing UV codes in a bunch of my Hanna Barbera purchases recently. So far I've had SOME success getting replacement codes via Flixster/WB. If you have the same problem, make sure you send them a support ticket with a pic of your receipt AND the UV sticker that came on the box. So far I have gotten replacement codes for:

Scooby-Doo Where Are You Season 1 & 2 (redeemed SD)
The Flintstones Season 1 (redeemed SD)

Still waiting on codes for Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection and Scooby- Doo Where Are You Season 3. They accidentally sent me the Season 1 & 2 code twice for Scooby Doo, so I am waiting for them to update it with a Season 3 code.
