Cloud Atlas is $2 cheaper at Best Buy and Target. Not sure what the Walmart Exclusive VUDU extras are...

I picked up the Die Hard Pre Order but I didn't read the packaging very well. Die Hard 1 and 2 are only rentals. I'm kinda bummed. Oh well.

Yeah 30 day rental window, with 24 hours as of initial viewing. It is very disappointing, I actually purchased Die Hard 3 specifically because I thought I would get 1/2 and already own 4 :/

I have to say I am very disappointed to learn this. I was absolutely set on being the new movie, even though every tells me how bad it is, because I would be gettting the killer deal of 1,2, and the combo pack of 4. Well, no need to buy it now if they are only rentals. Watch these Pre-Order numbers plummet once the word gets out.

Yeah...I was also kinda disappointed when I read that parts 1 & 2 were only rentals at the store the other day. I was all set to pick up the pre-order but I have no use for watching the rentals since I own the blu-rays already. So I'll just do the D2D at some point with the first 4 and just pick up part 5 down the road.

Has anyone seen Identity Thief pre-order in store yet? If so at what price for the blu-ray.

So I got my True Blood in the mail early yesterday. Do we know if all of season 5 will unlock on Vudu tomorrow or if just the first episode is all that is included and we will have to use the code in the box set for the full season?

I do not know for sure, but I would suspect it is the full season you will be getting.

For a Season Pass, you just get the episodes that have aired.

You got a season who's episodes have all aired in 2012 and you have all episodes on the physical media.

Sometimes Vudu only offers all episodes when they are released on physical media. Other times, it is as soon as they are aired.

For instance, I got the season pass of "Monsters vs. Aliens" for my children. Only $25 for HDX copies. Pretty good for a scheduled 25 episodes ($1.00 per episode). Currently, there are six that have aired and available for my children to watch. A new one is added after it airs on broadcast TV.

WalMart has Lego NinjaGo season #1 & season #2 on DVD with UV redemptions. I looked at them last week and you do get the whole season. I would have to imagine you will get the whole season too. Let us know otherwise.

                  thx.

                    Re: Walmart vudu promotions

Turns out the true blood pre-order only gave the 1 episode and you have to use the code to get the rest if the season. Season 5 went live today and only episode 1 is shown as being owned.

Has anyone seen a pre-order for the new Star Trek yet at Walmart? Cinemanow has it live now with bestbuy but I would prefer a Vudu copy.

not sure I understand. So you got the pre-order which came with the first episode. Now that it is live, you will get the rest via a redemption code once available in the Vudu system?

thx for explaining how this works in a real example.

I received the True Blood Season 5 Blu-ray set early in the mail last Friday and entered the VUDU code. But I still only see the first episode and a couple of extras. I'm assuming it'll go live tomorrow on the release date and all the episodes will show up.

UPDATE: Looks like it went live this morning. All the Season 5 episodes are now on there. But I'm pretty sure it requires the digital copy code that comes with the box set. The original Wal-Mart preorder code is only good for the first episode.

this is good to know from a real life example.

                            I see from this link

                            http://www.walmart.com/ip/23756137

that getting the packaged blueray cost less then getting the HDX EST (electronic sell through) version from Vudu. Vudu EST = $47+tax

                            humm...

did you get HDX copies in your Vudu library or SD?

                                $24.96
