    The Bible Pre-Order at Wal-Mart

Today I was at Wal-Mart and I saw a pre-order for "The Bible" mini-series that the History Channel is currently airing weekly. It work's just like the other pre-orders, and lets you take an early look at each episode as it becomes available. I don't think it's the whole episode, but I could be wrong. What I want to know is, will it be UV like all the other Fox DHD releases? I hope so. As soon as I find out, I'll go back and get it.

When does the Walmart preorder window close?

Does the Vudu code redeem in HDX or SD?

I think it going to be pulled from stores this Sunday/Monday(whenever your local store do their weekly mod update),
They might start a register sale block Monday night.
Not sure about the expiration date on the redemption code.

Hopefully hdx if you get the blu..

It is HDX, the preorder code is probably good for a few months. I think Hobbit is valid until June 2013 but the stores aren't selling it anymore.

Re: The Bible Pre-Order at Wal-Mart

I got my order in for The Bible just under the wire. Today I even got a shipping notice that the blu-rays are on the way!

As for the code it did redeem in HDX, but I can't watch it until 4/2 even though it's available for Next Day TV viewing for season pass buyers.

But I did get to watch the bonus content - basically 3 minute previews with commentary by the producers. I did catch a glimpse of The Bible on broadcast TV. It seemed to show an excessive amount of judder. The Vudu HDX previews did not show that judder anomaly at all. THANK GOODNESS!

I wish I would have waited and bought the digital version on the site. The Pre-order was 10 dollars more than the HDX version, and includes the introductions, which make it much harder to get to the actual shows.

I'm just wondering why it's taking so long for Vudu to put up the end of the miniseries. I figured it would be on site by now since it aired on Sunday.
