If you have a Blu Ray copy then I guess it is a waiting game til VUDU has it available for D2D conversion since CinemaNow does not recognize Blu Rays.
I noticed a few days back that they started allowing paramount movies to be UV on Cinemanow. I wonder when that started? Too bad they suck at retroactively activating UV movies.

Probably just 2 different pressings. One that it recognizes and one that it does not.

They just quietly ended thier beta. I suspect that's when the paramount movies were added.

I have Shrek the Complete Story on blu ray and all the discs read as Shrek (first one) only.

Out of sheer curiosity I pulled down the PDF document from CinemaNow that lists the available D2D conversions & yes Shrek 2 is available to convert. Now if they have some of the others that I have been trying to convert, and that I own in DVD format, that would be nice.

Highly unlikely, like most here they are MGM & Disney, with some obscure HBO, Warner Brothers, Paramount, 20th Century Fox and off brand studio films that will probably never be available.

I now have Shrek 2 loaded in the cloud thanks to CinemaNow. They have a new interface that seems to be much better. I am going to play around with it some more, but it looks like they might be back in the game!

Only if they do Blu-rays. If not, I'm outta luck...

I used to use CinemaNow when Vudu ToGo wouldn't recognize a movie until it got to the point where their list was so old and outdated that they were worse than Vudu. Now that they have updated their list and their software I will be using them again for those movies Vudu will not allow to save me a trip to Walmart and to spread the wealth a little.

It's in our best interest to have multiple UV services to choose from!

                              I agree.
                              1. M-Go
                              2. CinemaNow
                              3. Flixster
                              4. Vudu
                              5. Amazon (maybe soon)

This game is just getting started.

In the current playing field, Vudu is my hands-down go-to. The lobotomizing 1080p crystalline clarity is just too good to pass up on.

The others are really just a comfort for me to know they are out there.

At least, that is my view.

Me too. Vudu is the best service available to date.

I asked a question here a while back, not once but twice, and for some reason Vudu deleted it instead of responding to what I consider a valid question. The question was "does Vudu have redundancy?" If something happens that wipes out their facility does that wipe out our investment?

In a way, having CinemaNow, M-Go, and others provides us with some redundancy. However, we have several non-UV titles that we can only watch on Vudu.

The more popular all these companies become the better for UV and the more popular UV becomes then these companies will get bigger and more popular...if that makes sense

Come on a join the fun Amazon, Disney, and MGM!!!
