Mask of Zorro now HDX on Vudu

Mask of Zorro is now HDX on Vudu now through D2D if anyone was waiting. I had HD UV rights from my Cinemanow upgrade and was automatically upgraded on Vudu.

I added the UV code from a Blu-ray copy and am still stuck with SD.

They also updated some other Sony titles like Snatch and Silverado to having an HDX option on D2D.

Yeah that is why I generally wait till a movie is HD before I D2D it. That is part of the reason I did it at Cinemanow because HD was available there and I knew once Vudu got it, it would be automatically upgraded because I have HD UV rights.

Ugh, so confused. Just redeemed a Mask of Zorro UV on the Sony site and it provided me SD even though it has been available in HD for some time now.

Sent a note to Sony to see if this is an error, but I don't get it.......would I have received an HDX copy if I had randomly redeemed it on Vudu instead?

That happened to me also. I contacted Sony and they fixed it for me.

Thanks for sharing, I will post back what they tell me (hopefully they respond). For this whole UV world to get traction, they are going to have to stop making it a complete toss-up as to what you get when you redeem at different providers...to be honest, still don't entirely get why we have to have so many redemption options if they all end up in the same place....I guess because they all want our personal information.
