    No luck with D2D

I've tried about 3 movies with the D2D at Home, with no success. I asked for a verification, but never received anything back.

The last movie I tried was Rise of the Guardians. I can't remeber the other couple.

All I get is this message:

We are in the process of manually verifying your disc. We will contact you as soon as the verification is complete.

For instant conversion you may take this disc to your nearest Walmart store.

I took The Hobbit Blu Ray down to Wal-* and they couldn't add that movie either.

What is the deal? Is there a list of movies available so I don't waste my time driving to Wal-* again?

You can check here if a particular movie is available for D2D.

The Hobbit (2012) is not available according to that search.

Rise of the Guardians is available. Does anyone actually "Verify" the disc I tried to use on Vudu to Go?

Just because a movie is listed there doesn't mean it can be converted.

Exactly. There have been times (as I've posted) where I'll go through a stack of disc that are listed on D2D and they won't work.

The issue isn't that the DVDs are not available, they are. The issue is that Vudu TOGO will not verify many of the DVDs.

Another problem we are having this morning is that we cannot get into your Disc-to-Digital page to see if a title is available. This page was working last night, but this morning it's not. The "in home" D2D page is also not working and we cannot purchase movies.

I can confirm this is the case with me too. No D2D pages...

Maybe that means they are doing an update and want to freeze the system while they do.

              STARGATE, HERE I COME!!!!!!!!

I just created a case with Vudu support because now I cannot even access my movies or anything under the Watch Movies tab.

Also cannot redeem an UltraViolet copy.

It might be easier to list what is working today...this forum and that is about it.

Yes, I've gotten that message too, and no they've never contacted me to say the verification is complete.

The point of my previous post is to at least save a person their time and gas to see if a particular movie is available on D2D.

I'm not mad at you, but the fact that I'm about 0 for 5 attempts on D2D does not make me happy.

Yes, that is a good point.

I guess I take it for granted that folks know to do this.

For me, the trips into my local Wal-Mart photo counter are something I look forward to. They know me and I know them. Plus, while they are processing my order, it gives me a chance to look around the movie aisles to see what is new.

Also, I have 100% success rate with the in-store D2D program. I have yet to have a problem converting a title.
