My "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" from Blu-ray Code on Vudu

Trailer button doesn't even show up.

Using Chrome, Internet Explorer 10, and Firefox. Credit card has been added to my account, even though I have only bought ONE total movie at full price, everything else has been Physical Movie + Digital Copy as well as Disc to Digital (I am proud of my personal collection).

I've had no problems with Vudu lately (other than Walmart's D2D service not working), but I can watch every single movie without problems

They all have the play button on the computer, laptop, xbox, ps3, sony bluray player, roku, WD live tv hub, and ipad.

All I have to say is that if you refuse to add a credit card to your file, then I really hope you choose soon on if you want to add it because Vudu is having a 50% conversion sale on their at-home D2D conversions. Instead of $20 for 10 movies, it's $10 for 10 movies.

In a month it's back to the $20 for 10 movies, $200 for 100 movies, $2,000 for 1,000 movies. Yes, 1000 movies sounds crazy, but I own 5000+ movies. I love my collection. However it is hard to find them, Vudu is amazing and even though I cannot find movies easy on Vudu, they are ALWAYS there.

If you don't like the technology, sorry. The code was free with the purchase, sorry you don't want to assist Vudu in solving the problem.

In my honest opinion: Call Vudu, tell them "Hey it seems that there is a bug with my account where I cannot play movies, and someone on the forums stated that if you add a credit card will fix my problem.

This would either fix it or rule it out. If you really don't want the credit card on file, you are already on the phone with Vudu, ask them to remove it.

Good luck, hope you get this fixed. IMO, just like Walter, the portability of watching a movie is fantastic, but that's just me...

      ...

...because when physical media dies, what will you do? Do you still buy CDs, or did you give iTunes your credit card info to use their service?

You can just use a throw-away card number from a Visa cash card or similar to meet the goal without exposing your personal CC info if that is your concern. And heaven forbid the Target where you bought that bluray lose the info for 40 million transactions.

...no, I believe it is to remain compliant with MPAA age restrictions. A CC on file indicates the person is not a minor.

I to am having issues redeeming my code. I'm entering exactly what is on the card which came with my DVD(I JUST opened it) and every time it tells me the code is invalid. What's the deal??

Yes it does, it's just different on a PC. The little green arrow (in the upper left; under the poster pic, to the left of the stars) plays the trailer. I don't know why they don't keep the navigation consistent, but at least it's there.

Make sure you choose the correct movie version; extended or theatrical to match your DVD. Also pay close attention to zeroes, Ohs, ones and I's.
