    Where are the Unrated/Director's Cuts?

I wanted to D2D these DVD titles, but only the theatrical versions seem to be available:
    Cry-Baby - Director's Cut (WS)
Not Another Teen Movie - Unrated Extended Director's Cut (WS)
Team America: World Police - Uncensored and Unrated (WS)

Any word on if/when the unrated versions will be available on D2D? I know I'm going to have the same issue on a bunch of my Blu-rays once I get started on those too . . . Is there another thread that addresses this issue that I should add these to instead (and if so, I apologize)?

We don't carry those versions at all in our catalog so it's nearly impossible to know if they will ever be on our service. As will all of our content, things come and go in and out of window from time to time.

It usually doesn't bother me too much not having the Unrated/Director's cut unless it significantly alters or improves the movie. The two I really want Vudu to get would be the international cut of Leon (The Professional) and the Director's Cut of Kingdom of Heaven. The DC of Kingdom of Heaven is so much better that I refuse to even convert the theatrical version via D2D. There are certainly others I'd like to have, but those two are "must haves" in my opinion.

I recently noticed that the Richard Donner Cut of SUPERMAN II is now UV and available on VUDU for $9.99, SD only. One of VUDU's target-ed competitors has it on sale this week for $5.99 SD (there is apparently no HD available anywhere)--I bought it there and it instantly showed up on VUDU in my account; sweet!

I like the Donner cut quite a bit, especially the re-done beginning of the film and the villains' escape from the Phantom Zone now occurring in the first 5 minutes or so. However, I hate the 'world-spinning backwards' ending they chose to repeat from the first Superman movie--I know the producers were limited with their options as they assembled this cut, but I still wish they would have shown more originality on that particular front. Overall, I still prefer the original theatrical version, but this was a noble and worthwhile experiment.

This ending was originally filmed and planned for Superman II, but was used for Superman instead. I haven't done so yet, but is the Donner cut D2D for HDX? I have the blu ray.

No, it's not yet available for D2D. For now, an SD purchase is as good as it gets. That said, the quality of the transfer looks good.
