VuduTOGO disc to digital problems on Mac

I have spent the last while trying to find a solution for the issue i'm running into with the disc to digital process. While i have read most of the posts that have been made about the issues with the disc to digital problem that seems to occur with Mac, i have yet to find any help finding a solution to my problem. I have a high end Mac running with more than enough power for a simple thing like reading a dvd disc. I know that Mac does not have support for reading Blu-Ray discs and I am positive that the discs im attempting to read are in fact DVD Discs. The VuduTOGO app never identifies or even responds to the fact that a disc is entered either while the add disc option is checked or not. I have updated both VuduTOGO to version 2.3.3 and AdobeAir has been updated to version 28. And yes before you ask when the disc is entered into the drive it loads and plays with no issue. And the fact that they've removed the option to take discs to Walmart for conversion really bothers me. I need some assistance any ideas?

OK. So I got it to work. I first uninstalled VUDU to Go and Adobe Air, including all associated support files. I Googled how to make sure I got all the files. Then I reinstalled everything. Blu Rays still wouldn't work, but VUDU did now at least recognize my DVDs. So that got me thinking. Even though my Mac recognizes the BluRay, and lists the title in the Finder, I started wondering if the issue was the lacks a Blu Ray reader. I Googled "Mac Blu Ray player software", and found Aiseesoft, but there are plenty out there, and for cheap. After that, it finally recognized a BluRay disc and gave me the option to convert to a digital file. So basically it seems having a Blu Ray software player is a requirement.

I've had a bunch of issues with the Mac app too, but haven't had any help come through the engineering team yet (been waiting for a response to my ticket...it's been a few weeks, several phone calls, and lots of frustration). I keep getting an error that says, "Error creating cart" and it won't let me proceed. Anyone else run into this? I did all the things that made logical sense; uninstalled/reinstalled (including Adobe AIR), tried my wife's computer, tried a different DVD drive, etc.

I haven't used the Mac Disc to Digital app in a while (I have used it plenty in the past for several hundred conversions) with my USB Blu-ray reader but as a work around can't you just scan the Bar Code on the Blu-ray box with the Vudu app on a cell phone? That doesn't fix your problem but it might let you move on and get titles added to your account. I have used the Vudu Cell Phone app and you just use your phone, scan the blu-ray box, and it bills and adds the title to your account. Once again, just a suggestion, as a work around, if you still have the blu-ray container.

Keep mind there is a 100 title maximum per year for M2D
