Please Help. I Am Unable To Do In Store D2D Service And Want An Exclusive Movie.

I have 5 films I want to convert via in store D2D. These films are either recent releases that wont work in the VUDU to go program (The Wolverine (Extended), This Is 40 (Extended)), or movies that receive errors when trying to convert them (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Seven). I wanted to bring them into Wal-Mart to have them manually convert them there. The only problem is, my local Wal-Mart no longer has a photo center, and are therefore unable to convert discs for the D2D program. I then proceeded to call the next closest stores on the list, expanding to 20 miles away from my location. All of these stores have done away with their photo centers, and are unable to convert disks for VUDU. If I could only get one of these discs converted, it would have to be The Wolverine (Extended), as the only way to get the digital copy here is through D2D. Is there any way VUDU can help me out with this special case? I can provide all necessary information required to prove my ownership of the film on blu-ray disc. I will gladly pay the fee if you can manually add the film into my account upon proof of ownership. If this is not possible, can you at least add the film for purchase, so I can re-buy it?

    Thank you

For those stores that did away with the photo department, the electronics department is supposed to be able to do D2D now. I've had it done in the electronics department for a while now at my nearest store.

My electronics department doesn't have a desk/computer like the photo center had. It's just a bank of 4-5 registers. I'm not sure they would be able to help me there. Is there a process I can walk them through? My guess is if I bring the discs and list in, they won't even know what VUDU is, let alone what to do with the materials.

Yes, they do it from the register now. Ask for the Electronics Department Manager and he/she should know how to do it. If they don't, call Walmart corporate office at the 800 number on any Walmart website and let them know about this store.
