    Deleting Titles From My Library

Would one of the mods mind looking into this for me? I requested some titles to deleted from vudu, but Support takes so long to respond now. It's been over two weeks, and still nothing. My Case # is 170113-000584.

I've had mine open for almost 2 months. Can someone look at mine as well?

We shouldn't have to call or email. This is a feature that should be added to accounts. Give us the right to control what we want OUT of our library.

I suppose this is a fair request, but I can't imagine that many people would be interested in deleting movies from their library which they can't download to their computer. I would prefer the ability to create folders for our movies to keep everything organized.

It's probably not a good idea to have the ability to permanently delete titles from our account. Just imagine someone getting into your account and deleting your movies on purpose. Even a child can access your account and do the same. I'd rather have the ability to organize my titles instead.

I would prefer the ability to hide movies from your library just in case you want them back later on.

What's the difference then UV offering the option of deleting UV titles? When deleted there, they usually are deleted here too. We should have the option of deleting and hiding titles, like suggested in the post above. Myself, I buy a lot of titles that are theatrical cuts, mainly because I was unaware they had unrated or extended versions until afterwards, or the unrated/extended wasn't offered at the time. Once those are purchased, I see no use for the theatrical cut. Again, just me. Some I have been able to delete just by deleting the title from my UV list, but most I have to email to get deleted because it doesn't remove them here.

Re: Deleting Titles From My Library

Vudu should just add a "hide" feature like iTunes, where you can hide content you don't want to see in your collection. This is great for movies and free episodes you may not want displaying after viewing.

If I remember correctly from some older posts, if you bought a movie at vudu or redeemed a code a vudu then deleting them from your UV account does nothing on Vudu's end. It will no longer be in your UV account, but it will still be in your Vudu account. Movies from other places like Flixster and Cinemanow will disappear from your Vudu account if you delete them from your UV account. I know I was able to delete some older SD freebee movies from the early flixster promotions this way (Malibu's Most Wanted was one I remember booting from my collection).

How about not being able to delete title(s) permanently, but there are a lot of pilot episodes that are free to watch, but the problem is.......once you watch it......it stays on there, like you own it. Let us be able to delete the "free" ones, so it doesn't stay cluttered.

As a special request though, I'd also like to see a different kind of alphabetizing for movie or TV titles. As an example the Fast and Furious should be in a bundle (so they take up exactly 1 space), then when you open bundle......they will be in the correct order. If not 2 Fast 2 Furious will be first and unless you know the other titles.....you'd never know which one is which. Same with Harry Potter, Batman Begins, Die Hards....just to name a few. Even Marvel MCU movies should all be under the M titles for Marvel, DC for the Batman and Superman movies. It would make it so much easier. Either that or make it like Amazon did for their book collections. You can move around any title at will and once you plop it down......it stays there (saved forever) and will always have the ability to move around anytime you feel something is better and it will be customized for each individual. This way it's how you did it, not how VUDU, Netflix or any other company will do it. Food for thought.
