When I look at the bundle on my Roku 3, it shows the UV logo. The 5 DMA movies have the banner. The UV movie (A New Hope) does not have the UV logo.

Basically you want to pay the bundle price but want each movie folder + bonus features (a total of six folders) to appear independently rather than hidden under one main folder in your My VUDU Collection? It would look nice but the only way this could be achieved if they set up another purchase choice for the bundle that lists them this way. Seems complex for something that likely very few would be interested in. Pic below for reference.

I think a better alternative might be to add a user option to group or ungroup all owned bundles of movies. I'd appreciate a separate option to not bundle multiple seasons of a TV show also.

Daniel, can you confirm this with no doubt? I find it very odd that no sound track designation is shown in the "More Info" tab, like every other movie. FWI, a post in another forum has a Vudu screen shot showing "1080p Dolby Digital Stereo." Probably bogus, but this would be a deal breaker for me...

Yes, all of the movies are definitely 5.1. Some of the bonus content may not be - if anyone saw a listing for stereo it could have been on one of the bonus featurettes.

                Re: Star Wars: Digital Collection

I learned a long time ago that the more worked up you are about something, the more people you think you represent.

It's pretty simple - the average Joe doesn't care that much. Asking for some hybrid option isn't workable from a usability standpoint. When you're buying or searching, Vudu isn't going to potentially show you two offerings and confuse you. It just isn't going to happen. Offering a bundle-like discount on individual movies when bought together isn't going to happen, either. You can't even buy multiple movies at the same time on Vudu right now, and that would just be an accounting hassle.

So here's my suggestion: invite those people to come here or write in. Make the case for keeping the movies separate by default. That proposal actually has a chance, since very few care about them being grouped, either. I don't think there are a lot of strong opinions either way, but if you asked people to choose they probably would want it by individual movie. That's an argument you could possibly sell, rather than proposing new functionality that's just going to create headaches.

I don't care too much about the bundle option, I just don't want to spend $30 extra for 3 movies I hate. It would be nice if they had discounted original trilogy and prequel trilogy bundles as well.

media articles I have read indicate they are not the theatrical cuts. They are the Lucas remastered cuts on the BRDs.

I am working under the assumption that these went though some additional processing for the digital release.

Thanks Jake. Interestingly, I found that the Vudu app on my Samsung BD player does show DD 5.1+ under the info. tab, while the tab at Vudu.com still doesn't. Anyway, DD 5.1+ is great; bundled set now pre-ordered

It's kind of funny how Disney lists A New Hope as "This movie is currently unavailable on Disney Movies Anywhere". They won't even link it to iTunes, Google Play, or Vudu like the rest of the movies.

For some reason the web UI doesn't seem to show those details until it's actually available for streaming, but devices do. Not sure if that's a bug or by design, but I'll bring it up.

Cover art is very important part of the Vudu experience but if it has to be bundled it should:
                            1) Not have "bundle and save" on it like a K-Mart blue light special.
                            2) It should actually have cover art. I have some bundles that are just writing on a blank rectangle.
If I could choose I would choose no bundle!

See there are plenty of people who want no bundle so my point is made. Trust me there are many many more. The fact some of my stuff still has walmart preorder on it for stuff released years ago is quite odd as well.

That's because Fox owns ANH lock, stock and barrel, which is also why it's UV and not DMA. (All the services, including Vudu, list Fox as the studio for ANH vs. Lucasfilm for the others.) DMA is just telling everyone they have nothing to do with it; if you wanna buy it from Vudu, etc. you're on your own.
