Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information

    FelipeF can you have someone look at my support ticket? I've had one opened for months now, just opened a new one two weeks regarding the same issue. The second ticket I actually got a response back in about a day, followed up with their email and again, radio silence. I've tried chat multiple times and it just sets on waiting for an agent for hours. It can't be hard to remove titles from one's library.

    They used to be able to remove a title (has to be originally bought from Vudu) while I was waiting on the phone. I wonder if it's the change from Walmart to Fandango causing all the delays?

      Last time I removed titles earlier this year over the phone it was quick, but you can't even get anyone on the phone. It's just like chat, you're on hold for hours or until it decides to say call again later, if you even get that. I know my first ticket over this current issue has been open for at least 3 or 4 ago, so I doubt the Walmart thing is causing delays. I am betting they let go of a lot of support agents during the pandemic to save money and we are suffering that result.

        Online support, especially offshore, has been bad at a lot of companies for a while.

        Shrinkflation has been a bit thing especially these last few years.
        Make it smaller
        Switch to cheaper materials
        AND
        Raise the price as well.

        In some cases we're paying 2-3x more all while getting less of a lower quality product.

          FelipeF is there anyway you can check my ticket? The sign from the link in my email no longer works to login, chat is never there, my emails have gone unanswered for months, only got one response. The only thing I can find that could be a ticket number is what's in my email, which is 20220801-IYD7X4.

              Thanks! I'm not sure if you were the one who I received the email from or not, but it said the 6 titles were removed from my Library, but only 1 of them was removed, the other 5 are still there.

                I checked the ticket and I did see them deleted on our end. I also couldn't find some of the content on your account either. If they are importing from somewhere, then we cannot permanently delete them.

                  Do some things need to be deleted from MA end instead of Vudu?

                  Does MA constantly resync so if purchase shows from other than Vudu it will just keep repairing in Vudu ?

                    The only thing I can think of is that they might have been UV at some point? Would that keep them coming in, even though UV is dead? They were all D2D.

                    All are Lionsgate titles, so no MA.

                    You'd think with UV being dead, Vudu could delete them and there would be no way of them coming back since UV is dead... lol

                      Anything that was UV I would think is tied to providers. IE Vudu. Which is one reason I ported all UV to any provider I could before it went down, JIC. IE I have thousands of UV titles at Kaleidescape before I even got one of their boxes.

                        Vudu needs to add a Hide feature so we can just hide what we don't want anymore, instead of relying on CS to remove them, for like me, those titles that I'm stuck with due to UV.

                          I have friends that have make similar comments. Specifically for supplemental materials. And more so when it was ported over and Vudu shows all the supplemental material as feature titles instead of in a feature title folder with the feature itself.

                            Mine was for some Power Ranger titles. They released the series in "Volumes" which I would D2D, and they act as stand alone movies, while later they released the complete seasons as shows themself...

                              Yes, if the title was originally acquired somewhere else, it will continually reappear in your Vudu account.
