    Re: IR support

I'm trying to set up my Harmony remote but the Vudu does not respond (I do have the dongle).

What VUDU model# do you input in the Harmony remote software?

I can't seem to get my Harmony to work with the Vudu. What Model# do you use in the Harmony remote software for the Vudu?

        Hi AJF,

Which part doesn't work? The support for the VUDU remoote codes has been in Hamony's software for a few month now (you can find it under digital setop boxes).

If you found the VUDU box in the Harmony software and it doesn't work, then it's most likely because of the connection from the IR receiver to the VUDU box. Please make sure the connector is all the way in. ...the connector on the box is a little bit on the tight side.

        Hagen.

Hodge, please don't bring your personal issues on to the board. Gee! I really did not need to know that especially considering the images of the Wizard of Oz and all. YICK!!!

Well that's disappointing, I was all ready to post a full body shot for everyone's enjoyment. Guess I'll hold off until the polls come in. I guess what's behind the curtains stays behind the curtains (for now)!!

Please let it remain there. This is reminding me of the Friends episode I watched last night where Danny Devito was the stripper that Monica and Rachel ordered for Phoebe's birthday!

The secret it to push in the connector until you hear or feel a "click". That works for me every time.

Since mine is a prototype and shrink wrapped, it doesn't have a flat mounting surface. I have it located underneath the front edge of the box. I bet if you do that, you won't need to take it. There's enough clearance to slip it under but not so much that the dongle will move around a lot.
