and still watch as much OTA as I can) and not seeing the HDX quality, I find it hard to believe that one could see much, if any, difference on a 40" TV.
My point is that the difference in quality that we're talking about the levels that are often discussed in these forums is no where as dramatic as the difference between mono and stereo. I'd say the average Joe could discern that difference.
