The voting should be either a non-purchase click in the UI, or online.

I agree, you dont have to rent the movie on netflix before you rate it, should be the same in Vudu.

I checked a few shows I watch & didn't see any updates, so I never realized VUDU did faster updates. Here are some non-on-hiatus shows that have nothing from new season:
The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, My Name is Earl, Prison Break, Terminator, and Family Guy.

This got me to wondering what the purpose of TV on Vudu is. To me it seemed like it was to allow you to see past seasons of things in the proper order. For older shows this was because they were no longer really available (except for possibly on DVD). For newer shows, it seems like a good way to get "caught up" to be able to watch the new stuff on normal TV (e.g. Tivo).

That's what I did for Chuck. I actually watched the entire season one in one day and am now watching the current season on my Comcast/Tivo. I really can't imagine why I would pay for an episode on Vudu when I could Tivo it. I would understand if Vudu was your only box but TV on Vudu is certainly not far enough along to make that a good idea and DVRs are rather commonplace these days.

          +1

I would pay to watch TV episodes like Startrek Enterprise to be able to watch a lot of the episodes (in the correct order) that I missed back when I had a "real" job.

But I would never use VUDU to watch TV.

For me the TV on VUDU was only to collect entire seasons of some older shows:

            Lost In Space
            Time Tunnle

            I am hoping for:

            Land of the Giants
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

As I understand it, a lot of people buy shows on Unbox and iTunes simply because they don't want to pay for cable/satellite subscription or for a DVR/TiVo (even a cheap TiVo HD with free OTA adds up to $200 upfront + about around $150 annually).

Bottom line, there are different reasons for purchasing shows and there is no reason why VUDU should not strive to at least match other services.

I thought of that, which is why I made the comment that Vudu isn't far enough along to replace cable or satellite with a DVR. If it was, then yes I would kind of agree.

Re: Vudu Praise and a few suggestions/requests

Id be on strictly OTA antenna and Tivo right now if it werent for ESPN . The Vudu could never be the only box for me, but I can like with one for movies and one for Tv.
