Re: rise of the guardians missing from my account

I contacted Customer Support before I found this thread and before I joined the Forum.

According to the last communication I received, they are aware of the problem and working to fix it. No timeline on when it will be fixed though.

We carry this version, which you will have to repurchase." I'm not more upset because Puss in Boots is a film that I could take or leave, but this, coupled with the Maleficent 3D debacle a few weeks ago, is very disturbing.
Although I wouldn't put it past the providers to try this, I have to believe the backlash from users would be quick and significant if they did. I'm slowly converting to all digital and would not sit quietly if the providers went this route.

This issue appears to be a technical glitch with a few Dreamworks movies.

Ditto. Both "Rise of the Guardians" & the first "How to Train Your Dragon" are now missing from my VUDU locker, but still show up on other providers. Glad to know it's not just me! I really hope this is fixed soon.

I purchased the wolverine extended edition through targetticket. A couple of months later I went to watch it and couldn't find it. I contacted them and I was told never purchased it and was given an 8 step, that's right 8 steps on how to purchase a movie from a website, process to own the title. After I wrote them with my receipt id and how I would appreciate them to do a little research on a customers problem before writing condescending emails to them, they told me they no longer carry it and I should have downloaded it.

This is the same thing I was told by Apple for the movie "Carrie 1976". I did download it though but I would prefer to stream it. I won't be purchasing any more from Apple.

I just heard that it's same problem with How to Train Your Dragon as well. We're hoping for a resolution as soon as possible.

Wow. Sorry to hear that happened to you. Definitely makes me think I should re-read the "Terms and Conditions".

                Can they legally do this?

Somewhat related (and I realize we're talking about different things here, so I'm not directly comparing), I had purchased the Target exclusive Wolverine 3D blu with the exclusive "The Legendary Wolverine" bonus feature (viewable only via Target Ticket). The UV copy of the movie's regular edition is still in my account, but they did remove the exclusive featurette. At least I got to watch it once before they pulled it. To be fair, I pulled out my blu-ray case and there was some fine print saying "digital download may expire by 5/15/14" that I totally missed.

Re: rise of the guardians missing from my account

Quick update on my issues with "Rise of the Guardians" & "How to Train Your Dragon" not appearing in my VUDU collection... Sounds like the issue is due to Paramount selling the Dreamworks titles to FOX, and some problems with that transition. In other words, the problem is definitely not on VUDU's end, but they deserve some kudos on doing a great job keeping me informed. Thanks gang! Hopefully this is resolved soon though. I gather many people's collections have been affected.

Our family is also missing this title. I wish we would know about things like this somehow before the movies just disappeared. Is there still no time frame on when the title will be back? (we are also missing Breaking Dawn part 1, anyone else?)

Funny the other day I saw rise of the guardians as my last recently purchased movie, and I thought I didn't purchase this recently (probably when it came I had it) but I thought it was funny it was there, then I searched for it today and it was no longer there... Guess I'm not the only one and I'll just follow this thread

Since 1/21/2015 it shows up 11 times in my Balance & History list. I am not being charged anything, it just keeps disappearing and reappearing. When it reappears it shows up as my most recently purchased movie.
