Constant buffering issues on Nvidia Shield TV

    Definitely not fixed for UHD. Tried to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming last night and it was buffering so bad it was unwatchable. I won't be buying anything else from Vudu until this is fixed, no point in paying for things I can't watch.

    My Shield is running 7.0.2 with the latest version of the Vudu app. It's using wired (gigE) networking with AT&T gigabit fiber. Buffering isn't a problem on any other streaming apps including UHD on Netflix and FandangoNow.

    I watched "A. I. Artificial Intelligence" the other day on the Vudu app using the Nvidia Shield and it didn't buffer. It's only HD and not UHD so not sure it's fixed yet?

    Every other app I've used on Shield streams flawlessly, with the exception now of VUDU. Shield is an amazing platform, but 5 months without a fix on a constant buffering issue is quite ridiculous.

    Honestly I'm just starting my digital collection, only have like 20 or so movies... in everyone's honest experience would I do better to go through Apple's service for reliable 4k uhd hdr and software that works? Everyone said shield is great but if the software updates from vudu are non existent and this buffering issue hasn't been fixed for months I'm second guessing it....

    This was reported in March. It's been 5 months Vudu. How about an acknowledgement of the bug, a back roll apk post or how about a fix??

    I've just given up on the Vudu app on the Shield. This has been going on for months and months. Unacceptable. Come on guys.....

    This issue isn't resolved. Reverting to the original Oreo App with the Shield still buffers constantly. If a Vudu rep could provide an update that would be great. I guess I'll be watching Deadpool 2 tonight from my Xbox One X. Please Vudu don't make me go back to Roku or Xbox just to use your service.

    I just got Shield and am having the same problem with constant buffering on Vudo. I also have a Tivo with Vudu and NEVER have a problem with Vudu buffering. It's not an internet issue. My movies are all playing HDX since I don't have a 4K TV. Today I had to switch back to the Tivo to watch a Vudu movie.

    Not just a Nvidia Shield issue I am getting constant buffering on a Roku Ultra and a Sony UDP-X700 when trying to watch anything 4K HDR for the past two weeks. I can play the same 4K HDR movie on Fandango Now through the Ultra with no buffering.

    I had buffering problems like this since January of this year with Vudu and my Shield. However, ever since the Shield update a few weeks ago with the new Shield "look", the buffering problems have not appeared with Vudu. However, I have noticed a drop in Vudu PQ, in my opinion.

    Tested again on 3 2017 Shields and it buffered instantly on Avengers. Unwatchable. This is experience breaking. Please help us.
