    Gone Girl not UV?

I see that Gone Girl is not UV enabled. Is this going to just be this way until the physical release, or are there not any plans to make it UV at this time?

just another example of Vudu not being ready to go on digital release date. I seriously don't understand what is so hard about this but it seems like its a trend. Add this to the list of Tammy Extended Cut, Madea's Christmas, November Man, Maze Runner that were not ready to go. And it seems like its bigger releases they have troubles with which make me think it might be on purpose.

On purpose? To what end? Not to be profitable? There's a lot more to getting a movie ready than meets the eye. Customers can't possibly have a clear picture on where the bottleneck is. Why do you assume Vudu is holding back?

To be fair, it's not UV enabled on Target's site either, so I doubt it is just Vudu not being ready.

saw that on target ticket. that will be the first time however that both were not ready to go. November Man, Maze Runner, Madea Christmas were all ready to go on target ticket on digital release date.

Here is how its could possibly be profitable. I had a member of my share my movies buy tammy extended cut but it didn't show up as UV. So I wanted to see it and I purchased it for myself. Thus they got two purchases for the same movie. And a month later Tammy extended cut to UV.

Dont get me wrong I love Vudu but if a UV movie is released on digital release date it should be UV end of story. If its not ready to go don't release it early.

Again, how do you know it's Vudu's fault? Reading many of the posts around here, it seems to me that there are a good number of users who think that Vudu schemes up ways to make customers unhappy.

I am a conspiracy theorist lol...I don't know whose at fault it just starting to become a trend of them not being able to have UV on digital release date. At some point you have to wonder why....and the only response I have ever got was vudu blaming it on the studios but that doesn't add up when the other services have it as UV on digital release date. Minus today's gone girl...

Again I think if a movie is UV it should be UV on digital release date end of story. They put movies up for pre purchase the day they come out in theaters. If they can do that so quickly I am sure they can get the UV symbol ready for digital release date.

If the UV isn't ready to go then don't release it early. Wait until it is. Then it avoids anyone double purchasing it.

Good thing I hardly ever get a movie on release day. By the time I get it, it's UV enabled.

even if they did it on purpose, They are a Business and it is there goal to make money and if they did it on purpose to get you to buy it on Vudu instead of Say Target Ticket or cinema now. How is that bad business on their part? And that is only "IF" they did it on purpose. It could just be that they do not recieve the Uv information till after the digital release date.
