I see that Gone Girl is not UV enabled. Is this going to just be this way until the physical release, or are there not any plans to make it UV at this time?

Originally posted by YankeeGator6 View PostTo be fair, it's not UV enabled on Target's site either, so I doubt it is just Vudu not being ready.
Here is how its could possibly be profitable. I had a member of my share my movies buy tammy extended cut but it didn't show up as UV. So I wanted to see it and I purchased it for myself. Thus they got two purchases for the same movie. And a month later Tammy extended cut to UV.
Dont get me wrong I love Vudu but if a UV movie is released on digital release date it should be UV end of story. If its not ready to go don't release it early.

Again I think if a movie is UV it should be UV on digital release date end of story. They put movies up for pre purchase the day they come out in theaters. If they can do that so quickly I am sure they can get the UV symbol ready for digital release date.
If the UV isn't ready to go then don't release it early. Wait until it is. Then it avoids anyone double purchasing it.

Add this to the list of Tammy Extended Cut, Madea's Christmas, November Man, Maze Runner that were not ready to go. And it seems like its bigger releases they have troubles with which make me think it might be on purpose.
