The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). New movies with Instawatch stickers in $7.88 bin, but did not give IW copy

    New movies with Instawatch stickers in $7.88 bin, but did not give IW copy

    i picked up the following movies from the Walmart $7.88 bin:

    1. The Warrior's Way
    2. Mimic trilogy (new set with Instawatch sticker)
    3. Hero / Never Back Down double feature
    4. Poltergeist 2 and 3

    All of them had the IW sticker and none gave me the IW copy of the movie. I have opened a ticket: 150608-000227, and have sent in the requested photos. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I also picked up the $6.88 A.I. BluRay, but that one is a lost cause I suppose and is going back.

    We also need pictures of the UPC on the back for each title. Once that's been received, I can assist. Also, did you check on the back of the sticker for a code? Sometimes it's included there.

      I will be sending the pics of the UPCs over as soon as I get home from work. Thank you. Very exciting to see many new movies becoming Instawatch eligible.

                  Which means it's entirely possible that A.I. is coming to Vudu but isn't there yet.

                      That is possible. I saw these BluRays out only at one Walmart. However, I do not think that is true for A.I. Pretty much every Walmart I have been to lately have the IW display with A.I. Now, I hope I am wrong and A.I. does start working on the 23rd.

                          Are the new June $7.88 titles at Walmart that were initially mentioned not working in InstaWatch due to a mistake similar to the one with A.I., or are they not working because they are not scheduled to go into the bin until 6/23/15 (at which point InstaWatch will be activated)?

                            I have been to 3 walmarts today and all 3 had the new BluRays out in the $7.88 bin.

                              My two local Walmarts do not have them out. Different locations across the country have always put them out at different times, and it's often just a matter of not every Walmart following directions and doing what they are supposed to do.

                              The real issue here is whether or not certain stores are putting these new bin titles out too early, before Walmart / Vudu have the time to activate them within the InstaWatch system. If this isn't the problem, then Walmart is repeating what happened with A.I., which is stickering these movies as InstaWatch eligible when they are not.
