Jake, do you think Google will ever update their Chromecast Ultra to the newest DV profile? My chromecast ultra still can't play Vudu DV or even netflix properly. I'm still confused why they wouldn't update their DV profile, especially since XBOX is getting it on the One and the X

On your first post, the compatible device list update was last updated 5/19/2018, yet I notice that the Samsung KS is now listed as playing both 4k and HDR. Has your list been recently updated? Are the KS capable of playing both?

In 2015, Samsung released the One Connect Evolution Kit (SEK3500U). It allows owners of HU9000, HU8700, and HU8550 to output HDR. I have the 2014 HU9000 and, after upgrading to the Evolution Kit, can now play UHD movies on my Roku stick's Vudu app.

They took down DV profile 4 and have been waiting for the profile 5 so one plays in hdr10 and the other just standard4k.
