    Thanks jeremymc7!
This also going to be the sad thing as Flixster goes away and folds into Fandango.

Flixster has always easily, and quickly taken care of me. Fandango on the other hand has a lot of problems.

        Re: Batman v Superman

So, on Jeremy's suggestion I contacted Flixster support and they updated the UV rights for this, which also now show up on Vudu too.

One small nit to pick is that it did break the 'bundle' on the film, so now the regular, extended (and the bundle as well) all 3 show as seperate entries in the 'my movies' list. I can live with that.

        Glad to have this resolved.

What steps did you take? I filled out the form and then they asked me to send a picture of the case, slip, receipt, etc. I haven't heard back.

Who said Flixster Video was going away? WB has not sold that portion to Fandango.

There's a separate thread discussing it right now.

                  Re: Batman v Superman

Here's the response I got from VUDU customer support:

Hello and thank you for contacting Vudu Customer Care,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, when you purchase a DVD, the digital copies will always be in SD. HDX copies are typically only available when purchasing a blu-ray. The "Digital HD" that you see on your redemption slip is an advertisement indicating that this slip is for a digital copy, and does not indicate which definition of the movie you will receive.

These decisions are dictated by the movie studios that issue these redemption codes. We are not able to override their decisions. However, you can reach out to the movie studio that issued these titles and see if they can provide you with a replacement code for a higher definition.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again.
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

                  Best wishes,

                  Austin M

Correct. DVD should redeem as SD, Blu-ray as HDX, and ideally Ultra HD Blu-Ray as HDX; though except for WB titles they are largely redeeming as HDX instead much like Blu-Ray did fairly often as SD from some studios until things got worked out.

                          Re: Batman v Superman

I noticed that Vudu was doing Instawatch on a lot of UHD titles. If they're only coming over as HDX and I still have to wait until the disc shows up in the mail to then redeem for UHD, then it's totally not worth it.

If I'm buying a UHD I want to watch the movie in UHD, not HDX.

After getting the Batman v Supreman UltraHD blu-ray in the mail, I went to flixster.com/getuv and entered the code that was then added to my UV libray as UHD and transfered to Vudu in UHD. I watched it the other day and it looked awesome. Man of Steel UltraHD Bly-ray code also ported over in UHD when entering it at flixster.com/getuv.
