Just checked my app and I'm now able to view UHD, not getting atmos though on every movie that supports it
update: after use, I'm noticing no Dolby Vision, and sound is playing as stereo not surround sound, I'm watching Tenet.
Update: Getting Dolby Vision, no surround sound, atmos, or DD

I am also now getting UHD, and HDR as well as DV. No Atmos or 5.1, all I get is stereo. It's not a setting on the CC, as I get Atmos in Netflix and Prime.

Edit 21 Dec - still no Atmos or 5.1, just stereo. And a bad mix (on The Matrix at least).

We absolutely want to support all of its capabilities as soon as we feel the customer experience is good.
Note Jake that folks are having issues with Atmos

Okay UHD it seems to be working. Star Wars came up with UHD, HDR, Atmos.

Next up is the issue of VUDU not being an "option" for playing movies/shows off the main UI Dashboard.

When I try to play a Dolby Vision title, like Star Wars, Matrix, or Blade Runner 2049, the tv screen just goes black, audio/video playback does not even start, I have to hit back button. Meanwhile the SD trailer plays fine. Hope they fix this soon!

EDIT: I am now getting Dolby Vision video and stereo audio.

Can anyone else confirm that atmos is working?

Ugg I confirmed myself that atmos is only coming through as stereo. The screen says atmos. But the receiver is only receiving a stereo pcm input for audio from the vudu app.

And tonight a new twist..."Encountered problems during playback" while watching V For Vendetta in 4k/Dolby Vision (and fabulous STEREO).
Can't be a connection issue as the LG app works fine (but older model with no Atmos).

Well now UHD is gone from the system it seems. The LG CX Vudu App will show in UHD but has buffering issues that I can't seem to fix.

I have a lg CX as well and have the same issue. Also use the new chromecast. I installed the movies anywhere app on the chromecast and linked my Vudu account to it. It is playing my 4k uhd lord of the rings that I bought through Vudu perfectly.
