Disney Princess Collection sale with $20 credit clarification

Received an email stating that "complete your collection" will result in a $20 credit around 10/23/16.

Can someone verify if you already purchased some and only need a few more, do you have to purchase all 10 during the sale to receive the credit? or do you just have to have them all owned in your account before 10/17?

I came here to ask the same question.

The small print does say "Purchase of all ten titles must be made by 10/17/16 at 11:59pm.", which sounds like it would include any purchase made prior to that point, but it could use clarification.

I also would like to know this I have all but one and if I could buy the one remaining title and qualify that wiuld be great, but if not I do have the movie on CinemaNow so would rather not rebuy it if I don't qualify for the promo. Also one of the titles I only have in SD so do you have to have HDX version to qualify?

I doubt any previous purchases will count, but knowing the issues with their Disney sale this week, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it up to make customers happy, though, I'm still sticking with no previous purchases will count.

I am sure you just need to buy the ones you don't have as it doesn't even give you an option to buy if you already own it. The sale tags only show up on the two I don't own so I will probably pick them up.

Thanks for the input. I need only 3, so I will probably purchase them as well. then it is like $25 for 3 hdx. which is a good deal.

That's my take, but it would be nice to have official confirmation.

However, there's also the possibility that someone has the movies on vudu via DMA. No idea how that would be considered.

I didn't receive the email. Is this a targeted offer or open to everyone? Which movies count towards the 10 princess movies?

I don't think previous purchases will count. What if someone had them all except one? They would buy the last one for $14.99 and get $20 free credit?

                  I don't see that happening.

                      I got the email.

When I go to the promo page it won't let me buy anything since I own them all already.

                      I guess I am not getting a $20 credit?

Then good luck with this one too. I know some who never got their credit from that promo, or the most recent Civil War promo. The fact Vudu didn't make it clear in their email, nor are they saying anything now, seems to speak volumes, and I don't trust silence.

Have any of you just simply called to ask? I'm not taking part of the promo so I am not calling, but I would think they could answer this via phone support pretty easily.

You'd get many different answers, most will probably be wrong. I called support once about D2D, they said they no longer do D2D. LOL

Yeah, maybe, but you could also make sure to note the person's name and ask them to open a ticket about your question, and for them to supply the ticket # to you.

That way, you can at least have proof of what they tell you and if it doesn't happen the way they said it would then maybe Vudu would give you a credit anyway just for customer satisfaction.
