Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

I somewhat don't understand the point of this thread, so hopefully someone can help me out.

Don't all UV codes from the blu ray version redeem in HDX?

I am trying to find out which DVD UV codes redeem in HDX? For example, OZ The Great and Powerful.

When I do a search on here for a few titles I am looking at buying, I see posts that just state the movie and what it redeemed as, nothing about which format it came from.

Does anyone know of a list of DVD UV codes that redeem in HDX?

    Thank you.

Yep. Not all are on vudu yet though like The Color Purple.

The Change Up-Unrated (through Vudu) HDX
Smokey and the Bandit (through Vudu) HDX
The Blues Brothers-Theatrical (through Vudu) HDX

The rest I did not test because I already d2d'd them.
When I redeemed The Change Up-Unrated on 6/23/13. I first redeemed it on iTunes and got SD. Then right away I went to Vudu and it redeemed in HDX.

Theatrical: http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...ack-Theatrical (Notice the lack of a Redeem button)

Also notice that the Unrated version is only available to own in SD.

I type all that garbage just to ask this question: Did you get the Theatrical version or the Unrated version in HDX?

My Vudu is showing I own the Unrated in HDX.

I tried to redeem via VUDU since I saw someone else post that they got HDX via VUDU for Season 1, but no such luck for Season 2.
My code came in at SD too. Is there even a Blu-ray version of suits season 2?

Wish they all came out as HDX.

Question - If I used Flixster instead, would I have received the same result?
Those SD ones are probably from codes that came from the DVD version. I redeemed codes from the Blu-rays of ZDT and Looper and they redeemed as HDX on Vudu.

Tried to redeem mine through Vudu and got an error message. Tried to redeem through Flixster and it said code already used (I just opened my copy so it must have been when it erred in Vudu). I connected to Flixster chat and he manually added it for me and I got HDX. Not sure if that is what the code gives or if it was a mistake on the chat support's part.

The code from the DVD, yes DVD, also redeems HDX via VUDU.
