You do have to go to the store for the presale, the website doesn't provide the early download code, they just ship out the disc on release date with the included UV code.

If you do the presale in store you don't have to go and pick up the disc. When you redeem the code at the specified address the site asks for your shipping address. The disc will be shipped to you, you may even get it a few days before release date.

You pick up the case at Walmart and register it, get your UV copy a week early, then they ship the disc to you on or before the release date.

Edit: Haha, thought someone would beat me to it.

Is this the price for the blu-ray or the DVD? Sounds like the DVD price to me...

I don't buy dvds unless that is the only option i see. But i will note its a dvd - like cold light of day - I haven't seen a blu-ray at wal-mart for it and the vudu promotion is on the dvd.

The vudu promotion is for the blu-ray combo pack. I bought two at my local wal-mart yesterday. Already redeemed the preorder.

I picked up a pre-order copy when I was at Walmart last night. Like everyone else I paid $18.96. This is the first time I've done the Walmart pre-order so hopefully everything goes ok. I registered my code already and also redeemed my free HDX copy of Casino Royale that came with it so everything is good so far.
