Re: D2D Anchor Bay not working

I had them remove the Anchor Bay titles from my order and it still choked up. Now I've actually cleared them from my queue on my end and I'm going to try it again tomorrow.

The lack of communication and the miscommunication between these two entities is very frustrating.

Re: D2D Anchor Bay not working

Ok, just got off the phone with the Walmart associate I've been dealing with to resolve this problem.

I had her delete my order on her end. I cleared my D2D queue on my end and then created a new queue minus the Anchor Bay titles. She confirmed with me that she was able to check out without receiving the Missing UPC Code error.

I removed these Anchor Bay titles from my queue:

      Law-Abiding Citizen
      Traitor
      The Dead
      Pandorum
      Let Me In
      The Evil Dead
      Brooklyn's Finest
      The Crazies

I'm going over there this afternoon to pay the bill.

So here is my question... who would be responsible for correcting this error? Is it Walmart or Vudu?

Most of the stores can't get a call back. I started having this problem last Friday. The store didn't call until Monday, and they have not had a response from whomever they called. When I went back this afternoon, I told them what I found out from the forum. They still had no idea of the situation.

Re: D2D Anchor Bay not working

I tried to D2D 5 movies at Wallmart with my printed list. One was a Anchor Bay movie and the movies came back with errors (UPC code) and I was unable to check out.
When I go to my D2D list on Vudu nothing shows on my list and if I try to add them it says there already on my list.

That means they still have your order in their order buffer at Walmart. You have to ask them to cancel the order on their end. After this was done for me, the titles re-appeared in my queue and I was able to remove them.

Thank you for your help however most associates at the Walmart photo centers don't know how to D2D or even log in to Vudu and this means another trip back to Wally and waiting for them to locate someone who does (if I'm lucky).

                    Thanks, Dan!

I'm already putting a new D2D order together for my next trip to Walmart...

I think it's a good practice to try and get the name of at least one of the people in the Photo Center, preferably someone who knows what they're doing and deal with them directly. Doing this allowed me to troubleshoot this problem over the phone without having to take a trip to the store until I was sure I would be able to check out.

Remember, you can always leave feedback at Walmart.com about your experience. Positive or negative.

Thank you Dan however the last time I called Walmart I was told they don't do Disc to Digital.

This is a good idea however I would have to travel to Hodgkins, Illinois Walmart to do this but there are 3 Walmarts closer to me that have failed to do D2D in the past. I keep hoping and trying Walmarts closer to me.

I know it's crazy but I think I should be able to take my printed list to any Walmart and have my list added quickly to My Videos without needless complications.

Absolutely! It's not a complicated process... They should have a binder in the Photo Center that has everything they need to complete this for you. You should bring this up to a manager or assistant manager at one of these Walmarts. They should have movies for sale that have the Vudu stickers on them.

I was able to do these 5 movies today. I've been talking with Wal-Mart since Monday and followed up wed and today it was fixed. It may just be my store but I dunno thought I would let others know I was able to do it today
