Re: Direct-to-Digital list and other utilities (Error Tracker, Redemption Log)

I am new to vudu and hope this is right forum for my issues, I started add disc to the in-home D2D program. When I finally went to check out and pay for the in-home D2D movies, but when I click on Checkout I get this message: "We are unable to complete this transaction. Please try again later." Then my cart was empty and when I try to add a disc this time said I get this message: "Sunset is already added." and so on.

So then they cleared my cart and I was told Please try again and try to check out just 10 movies at a time instead of more than that, and try discs, same results.

So then I was told just checked that have Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.94 & Adobe AIR 3.8, also I install VUDUToGo program this morning. I just uninstall and reinstall VUDUToGo program again, and try discs, same results.

So then I was told try another browser, I have all three browsers, but what differences dose this make when add the discs to in-home D2D VUDUToGo program.

So then I was told to try cleared my cart again, so I said yes this have all been attempt to use the in-home D2D program. and like I said clearing out my cart its been done earlier in the day, with me add them again with the same results.

I been talk to Vudu email support all day (Question Reference #130818-000041) with different people and I still waiting for a fix, any suggestion?

This is all just a big problem and I don't know when they will fix it all. I have the same problem with my in-store D2D where I can't see any of my movies that I add to the list. I can't tell what I've added except that when I try adding one that's already there, it will say it's already there. Also, since I can't view the list, I also can't print the list. I don't even bother with the home version (VuduToGo) because it doesn't recognize or recognizes incorrectly all the others. Seems I'm screwed with either version?

I was able to contact Gracenote regarding a majority of the titles in this thread and directed them towards in the spreadsheet in the first post along with titles I have had problems converting. They seem very open to amending the problems but I'm not holding my breathe. We'll see what happens!

What? They should have already been contacted by Vudu a long time ago?

Agreed, but considering some of these problems are 5-6 months old, we can safely say that aren't being addressed.

Gracenote's response was hilarious. They claimed that Godfather I-III, Die Hard 1, 2 & 4, all the mislabeled Kubrick movies that show up as "Barry Lyndon", etc. are all not eligible for disc-to-digital. So much for them doing anything about fixing the existing problems.

I'm glad I didn't wait and did the last 48 conversions at Walmart!

I have no such box. All my D2D are completed and I am parked waiting on availability for the remainder.

However, I did all my D2D transactions at the photo counter.

Hey all, just piping in to say there are no new updates. I've been checking daily and the last update is still the 1 title found on 8/13.

The Day the Earth Stood Still (3 Disk Special) comes with the 1951 version. If you scan the Remake disk it is not identified. If you load the 1951 disk it is seen as the Remake. I didn't see this title on the list and I did a forum search that didn't turn up anything recent.

I used the R1 DVD for the 1951 movie 6 or so months back and it redeemed fine.

Hi, thanks for the info. I only have the choice of In-Home D2D, I don't live close to Wal-Mart (The nearest walmart in 1 day and half a way and it dose not have a photo lab and dose not do In-Store D2D), so it look like I have to wait for their fix and even if there is one? Also dose anyone answers the support ticket, I sent respond back about a time frame with other questions, but after 7 days of no answers, so is this common?

I would not like to stay with Amazon after reading the guardian that they can wipes customer's Kindle and deletes account with no explanation. Also after talking to a friend that work in amazon instant video department they lessee contents and can take a title a way from you account at anytime even if buying.

At this point I have vudu that In-Home D2D error with my device there is no easy fix. Amazon wipes customer's digital content with no explanation or iTunes that only work best with apple devices, I think bluray might still be the best answer. I still have hope they get my In-Home D2D cart fix.

that really stinks. I have three Wal-Marts ten minutes from me in any direction. Each have photo counters too. Nice thing about Vudu being a UV service, that the concept of a digital rights locker is a big selling point feature. At least for me it is.

as for Vudu support, they have a phone number too. I have found they respond to me in less then a day via e-mail though. If you have one stuck, you may want to give them a call.
