1501 movies as of today, 10/12/13, and 43 TV seasons......finally reached the 1500 milestone, so proud of myself, 2000 is going to be tough to get there....little babysteps first I guess....

How is "The Forbidden Kingdom"? I was thinking of getting that one, but was unsure of if it was any good.

Way to go breaching the 1.5k mark!!!

...understand completely. They just have not been bitten by the Vudu bug yet like we have. Keep up championing the cause. They will come around at least that is my approach.

I personally feel UV to be the next generation of entertainment distribution. We as early adopters may be ridiculed, but when we are sitting on fat libraries when in a year or two everyone else is starting out, the scales will come into balance.

I like that movie very much. It's not as good as many of Jackie Chan's other movies, but it is a very good movie. I may not be the right person to provide you with a good opinion since I am a huge Jackie Chan fan...I have every single movie of his ever released in the US on DVD.

I would love to see his new movie, Chinese Zodiac (AKA CZ12), that opened in the US a week or two ago, but it's not showing in any of the theaters around here.

One of my all time favorites is The Legend of Drunken Master (AKA Drunken Master II). I have been asking for this one to be added to Vudu for a while now. I am also waiting for Shanghai Knights and The Accidental Spy to be added to Vudu. These are three more really great JC movies! Another really great JC movie that is available on Vudu is Gorgeous. I really love that movie.

Anyway, I think The Forbidden Kingdom is a really good movie and if you are a fan of Jackie Chan then I think you will like it too.

Crossed 2k the other day but I have slowed down purchasing a lot due to the lack of good movies available because MGM and others are still not available as UV. I am mostly just buying new releases that are UV Adding movies to the D2D has come to a disappointing screeching halt also

I'm currently at 413 but will probably never reach 1000 because I'm one of those who only buys to watch and not to collect.

Just hit 435, I am just about done, just need the stuff that is not D2D, Bond, Star Wars/Disney/Pixar/Marvel Films, Despicable Me, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, certain Spielberg titles, etc.

Re: Who's got the biggest VUDU (D2D, UV) library here?

I've got around 210 UV and a handful non-uv. No UV tv shows, and the only TV shows I have are Pawn Stars and American Restoration.

There's a few I will be doing D2D again, since they are now available to redeem in HD/HDX.

After that, it's pretty much only new releases here and there. I'm pretty picky when it comes to movies, hence the small collection. I pretty much only buy movies that I know I will want to watch again within six months.

I also have about 50 movies that fall into the "Not available/Rent only/Non D2D/MGM/Disney" bucket. In fact, I'm surprised the Back to the Future trilogy has not been made D2D yet, or at least had a blu-ray re-release in the US that contains a UV code.

...I really enjoyed "Another Earth". Same actress as in "The East", Brit Marling. She was also in a film called, "The Sound of My Voice" which I found worthwhile too.

Oh, you have my favorite, "Jeremiah Johnson".

Wish they had it in HDX, in a digitally remaster, but just SD currently.
