Well, we like many other users don't have the issue. When we don't have the issue then there is no way for us to fix. Unless we can reproduce it.

I 100% agree. Either they come up with a solution to this or I get the same exact solution from Flixster/BestBuy. They both upload to ultraviolet. Vudu needs to get with the program here, both of the other services (read: software) work perfectly fine.

Can I get those commands to debug too? I also don't have raid config and my DVD's are not being read.

I have not received a PM from you. I'd really like to get this fixed, I'ved tried it on 3 different PC's and they all have the same problem with about 30 different DVD's. It's clearly a VUDU Software issue and not any of my different hardware setups.

I'd also like to add that The Flixster version of this disc to digital works fine with all 3 of my hardware setups and all 30 of the dvds. Same with the BestBuy version. Everything is fine.

I'd prefer to go with Vudu for this because of the 50% off deal right now, so I'd really appreciate some help on getting this working.

What's the ETA on actually being able to do this on our machines? I really want to use the discount and not take these to Wal Mart.

Oh well. small price to pay for all of the savings we are getting with the home beta right now.
Your assertion about a DVD in a Blu-ray drive not working after the latest update may actually be something else environmental. I have had no global issues with DVD's in my blu-ray drive, just some discs so don't give up hope.

Of course, my blu-ray drive is in a Sony Laptop which I think significantly reduces possible environmental factors like raid settings, etc.

My old internal Blu-ray drive is still chugging along with either BD or DVD...YMMV

Reboot your computer and come up into the system BIOS and check configuration settings for your SATA controller. If it's configured as "RAID" (or possibly a setting shown as a combo of RAID and something else) that's likely the cause of your drive not working properly to identify DVDs, but being OK with Blu-ray discs. At least in some cases, this configuration of the SATA controller that the drive is connected to leads to something behaving differently when the VUDUToGo app goes through verifying the DVD.

Presuming you aren't actually utilizing the RAID features, you would need to change this setting to AHCI. But before you do that, you have to also enable the AHCI driver in Windows, because in a system that is not configured as AHCI, the AHCI driver does not get enabled when you installed Windows. And without it, when you change the setting in your BIOS, you won't be able to boot anymore.
