Did you get a code for more.marvel.com? If so and it does not work at digitalcopyplus, then contact the digitalcopyplus customer service. They will verify that your code is valid and give you a replacement code. You will need the case and discs as they will ask for several numbers from them.

If you didn't get any code at all, you should contact Disney customer service.

Re: I might be done with Walmart preorders

IM3 came with a sticker on the outside saying the digital copy was already waiting in the Vudu locker and the code inside would only work for Disney Movie Rewards points + the additional content - a poster and a digital comic I think.

Normally the code that comes inside a pre-order movie will redeem like normal, but this one did not. Is this the new normal for Disney with Wal-Mart pre-orders? If so, I will also have to rethink paying the much higher prices at Wal-Mart for these packages and just start buying the movie on release day for less like I used to. I would still get the digital copy on vudu via the code inside and would save myself quite a bit of money it seems.

Also, has anybody else noticed that the pre-order movies are now arriving PAST the release date, even when code is redeemed early? My copy of the croods came the day after release and my mother's copy of Grimm season 2 came a full week after the release date - not even shipped until 3 days after release. In both cases, codes were redeemed well before suggested cut-off date to have the movie arrive on release day.

I received this offer when I bought Oz The Great And Powerful and Supper Buddies which were not Walmart pre-orders for me. Unless this changes I won't buy Disney Walmart pre-orders anymore. Now I wish I didn't buy Monsters University Walmart pre-order.
Are you sure you've gotten the option to buy 3D disc for Super Buddies? I don't see any 3D version of Super Buddies available anywhere.

Oz was a special case where they did that dumb experiment selling 3D blu-ray (+digitalcopy) only with no 2D blu-ray or dvd. The only relatively cheap way to get the both the 2D and 3D discs was to buy the 2D blu-ray/dvd/digitalcopy combo pack and pay the small fee to get the 3D mailed to you.

I bought the regular retail Blu-Ray combo pack. Went to the Marvel website. Asked me to to select Vudu, iTunes, Amazon, .... whatever. Selected Vudu. Bamm there it was.

          Don't get it.

I haven't even received mine yet. I even called the shipping department and haven't heard anything back. Very frustrating since we are approaching 2 weeks now.

I stand corrected, I don't know what I was reading when I redeemed it. Maybe it was that bad batch of crack or that stupid plush toy

All of my pre-orders have usually come in at least five days before release day, with the exception of Grimm Season 2 but I bought that one within a week of its release. I've been very satisfied with this aspect of the new pre-order system!

Re: I might be done with Walmart preorders

With 7 preorder still pending, Yeah I am likely finished with preorders too.
                  Issues
#1: well 1 of those pending is Pacific Rim, 4 day out and they have not even sent me the email that its even shipped.
This was a day one 9/3 preorder and registered, they say they ran out waiting on more to ship well who got theirs first?, I would hope it goes buy date registered so that would mean they did not even have enough for day 1 purchasers.

The above reason main one the following could be more studio issues but in combo with above really added up.

#2: Not getting the digital version of what I preordered examples Identity Thief Unrated & World War Z unrated both of these the digital version is rated, what is the point of getting to watch it early if its not the version I want to watch. In fact only 1 preorder gave me the unrated version.

#3: Preorder of Superman: Info released Walmart was getting the exclusive Steelbook, preorder says you get "Exclusive Packaging" One would think that means its preorder of the steelbook. But wait they later release info they are also getting an exclusive slip cover package this is what is going to be used for this preorder.

#4: Disney: don't like that is not a off the shelf package but a special 1 with a code not good for digital copy.

So as far as my preorder purchasing going forward to get me to buy one
1: they start guaranteeing on day delivery or get compensated.
2: it gives a digital copy for something that normally does not have one For example Sons of Anarchy S5 - preorder
3: the preorder slip clearly states you will get the unrated digital copy for early watching
4: clear detail what the "Exclusive Packaging" is going to be for example steelbook, special slip, and or extra disk

Re: I might be done with Walmart preorders

Pacific Rim is the first of my Pre-orders to not ship on time. Sucks, but it sounds like I've been lucky compared to others.

Re: I might be done with Walmart preorders

As much as I loved the pre-orders at first, I think I may be done as well. I STILL have not received my Iron Man 3 in the mail, and they've sent me 2 different tracking numbers. It can take forever to get the shipping department from VUDU on the phone sometimes too. I don't know why we can't submit a support ticket for this online and we're forced to call. At this point I'm wondering if I'll ever receive my physical copy of Iron Man 3. I'm a big VUDU advocate, but this experience has definitely soured me on these pre-orders. I really hope the same thing doesn't happen with my Man of Steel pre-order that I've already put through.

Its now 1 day away from the 1 week mark of Pacific Rims release, ~7 weeks ago I paid in full for this movie.
So something I paid for nearly 2 months ago for and they have yet to send me a message saying shipped or even an email on the progress and an ETA.

If anything, this shows poor planning if you pre-ordered that far in advance.

No early access to Man of Steel? I'm definitely done with Walmart preordering. Sorry, but there is ZERO incentive for me to continue giving them my money early, especially for movies with 3D options and which might be cheaper elsewhere...

Yep they just keep piling on the crap they want us to swallow with these.

                                lets see incentive to preorder
                                1) early watch access.
                                2) early / on time delivery of physical media.
                                3) bonus materials and extras
                                4) hopefully a better price than release day

                                Whats been happening lately
                                1) month + still no physical media
                                2) the extras keep getting smaller
                                3) cost is starting to go higher than some places release day sales(likely to make up for the theft they seam to have)
                                4) now no early watching likely to continue with future titles

yep the negatives have now nulled the benefit of this.
