    I buy tons of movies generally in large bulk so I often have multiple copies of some titles. Even with duplicates, I am still having trouble with a lot of titles. Movies where there are multiple versions (i.e. Theatrical, Unrated, etc.) seem to be more prone to the most problems.

    This is frustrating since I like to do a series of movies in a batch all at once for grouping. (For example all the American Pie movies or all versions of Blade Runner, etc.) But if one or two are crating a problem, it holds up the entire batch.

    Anyhow, here is my updated list of bugs. Most have been reported a while ago and are still problematic.

    Blu-ray: "Unable to identify this disc" "Please type the name..."
    • American Tail, An - Blu-ray: "Unable to identify this disc" "Please type the name..." - NO Blu-ray option in-app to report so reported as DVD even though it's Blu-ray! - 0 25192 22416 4
    • Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (Theatrical) - Blu-ray: "Unable to identify this disc" "Please type the name..." This release contains both Theatrical and Unrated versions! - 0 32429 12949 9


    Blu-ray: Title incorrectly identified
    • Wanderlust (Theatrical/Bizarro Cut) - Blu-ray: Title incorrectly identified as "Wanderlust with Bizarro Cut" but this release has both versions! There is no option for either "Wanderlust (Theatrical)" or "Wanderlust (Bizarro Cut)". The disc is only detected as "Wanderlust "with" Bizarro Cut" which -should- have both versions back to back (like other services) but it is only has the Bizarro Cut! - 0 25192 12603 1

        I went out and specifically bought Night Shift on DVD so I can have it physically in my collection and add it to VUDU via disc to digital conversion the next time I do a bulk transfer of 10 or more flicks.

        Well, the dvd is not recognized by the software. I know I can take it to Wal Mart to have it added but Wal Mart doesn't honor the 10 or more at 50% OFF.

        This is a real bummer. Hope it gets resolved soon.

          Just noticed the 3 Back to the Future films have been added to the D2D search page. Has anyone tried them? It looks like only SD is present, Blu Ray HDX yet. Hopefully they will add the HD versions soon.

            They've been there a while now. I've heard people have had trouble using the home software with them. HDX is available but only as a DVD upgrade for $5.

                    Hmm . . . my Abyss Special Edition read fine and I was able to convert it without issue, albeit it's only available in SD.

                      It's not too unusual, sadly. Not sure what causes it. Perhaps subtle changes made by the manufacturers mid run or something. But I'm not sure.

                              Great news. I just added Back to the Future I/II/III using my blu-ray set. These allowed me to cross a 10 disc threshold.
