Re: Error: Sorry, Disc to Digital has experienced a technical issue.

I've used multiple devices (iOS and android), have an active credit card on file, and I get the error.

EDIT: And now I'm good. I don't know if it was an app update or what, but I'm good to go

Re: Error: Sorry, Disc to Digital has experienced a technical issue.

I got a response from Vudu support, but none of their suggestions worked.

I just gave them a list of DVD's I have and what errors I get. Not a single one will scan on the mobile app. Most of them give me the technical issue error. There are a few that gave me the UPC Not eligible.

A few of those UPC Not Eligible cases actually gave me the option to convert disc to digital using the app on my laptop using Windows 10.

I don't know what's going on with it. Settings for the mobile app like camera, gps, location are all turned on. I have GPS enabled on my phone. I've tried using wifi and my 4g Data. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. My billing address matches my location. I've got payment information updated on my Walmart account. I've tried several different credit cards and my debit card that are all active.

Hopefully Vudu responds to my email in the next few days finding a fix.

Re: Error: Sorry, Disc to Digital has experienced a technical issue.

Along with some additional information about my phone they requested, this is the other information I sent them containing a list of errors on the mobile, what movies were getting what errors, and a list of movies of what dvds would and would not work on the app on my laptop with windows 10. Just adding it here too in the topic to provide others information in case they want to compare.

The following list of DVD cases report the error on the mobile app. "Sorry, Disc to Digital experienced a technician issue. Please try again later.
Avatar, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Blind Side, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bring It On, The Matrix, The Crow, Once Upton A Time in Mexico, Frailty, My Boss's Daughter, Fear Dot Com, The Ring, Final Destination, Godzilla, Underworld, Deep Impact, The Italian Job, The Last Castle, Maverick, Twister

The following list of DVDs worked on my laptop that has Windows 10. It gave me the option to convert them to Disc to Digital:
Avatar, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Blind Side, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, Inception, The Day After Tomorrow, The Matrix, Twister, Godzilla, The Last Castle, Underworld, The Italian Job, Minority Report, Frailty, My Boss's Daughter, Bring It On, The Ring, Final Destination, The Crow, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Fear Dot Com

The following list of DVD's gave me a "UPC Not Eligible. Sorry, this barcode is currently not eligible for Disc to Digital" on the mobile app:
The Lion King 2-Disc Special Edition, Inception, The Day After Tomorrow, RPM, Minority Report, MR. Holland's Opus, Mary Poppins 45th Anniversary Edition, The Original Christmas Classics, Flight of the Navigator, Windtalkers, Signs

The following list of DVD's gave me a "Not Eligible" on the Windows 10 Vudu app using Disc to Digital:
Flight of the Navigator, Mary Poppins 45th Anniversary Edition, The Lion King 2-Disc Special Edition, Windtalkers, RPM, Mr. Holland's Opus, Signs

So if you take a look at all those lists, lots of the DVD cases wouldn't work using the mobile app, but it did give me the option to convert using the DVD in my laptop. Also, if you look at the list, the movies "Inception, The Day After Tomorrow, and Minority Report" gave me the option to convert Disc to Digital using the windows 10 Vudu app, but gave me the option UPC Not Eligible using the mobile app.

I own all those DVD's and those cases are in mint condition. The mobile app will not read them. I started a topic on your Vudu forum and several people responded stating they get the exact problem using the mobile app. The windows 10 app allows the option to convert, but the mobile app disc to digital feature will not work at all.

The Lion King and any other Disney products are. Not eligible for d2d

Re: Error: Sorry, Disc to Digital has experienced a technical issue.

I've found that I only get that error when the movie is sitting in my cart for the In Home Disc To Digital, on the Vudu2Go app.

I switched to my ex-wife's account and those same barcodes scanned just fine. I also just confirmed that when I removed the title from my Vudu2Go cart, and then tried to scan it again, it worked just fine.

It is so frustrating that no one has been able to figure this out. I was really looking forward to using this service. Does anyone have their account set up to log in with walmart? I thought maybe that could be the issue but I think I've read others that use walmart got it to work.
I am having the same issue not able to use disc to digital signing in walmart. It will only work if you logged in as vudu and not walmart. It does not give an option to change payment using walmart. I am trying to figure out how to use walmart account that is sign in vudu so I can keep all the movies I already had.

My card for in home dtd is empty and I'm still getting the error. I got an email back from vudu on 4/6/17 that told me wait 5-7 business days for extra support. It is now 4/19. Still no help.

                    Just and update:
It is now May 4th (May the 4th be with you) and I'm still getting this error when trying to scan. Haven't heard from Vudu support since April 20.

This error has been happening to me since they started the mobile disc to digital program. I finally tried something that worked.

I have a zero balance gift card associated with my walmart wallet. What I did was added it to the VUDU account on the payment info page. It somehow opened up my account to work without the error. I can now scan movies and the funds will be taken out of my walmart wallet.

I am having the same problem for the last week.
This was working fine before and I had successfully converted between 30-40 discs.
Very strange that this is no longer working.

I haven't gotten it to work at all. Not one single conversion since mobile was introduced.

I sent them another inquiry to my ticket. Their last response was on April 7th. It's now May 8th and been over a month since they supposedly "escalated my case". Not exactly high on their list of issues to address I guess.
