For Kappa123 - I do not have this issue with my PC or cell phone, and it was happening even with HDX movies. For DanielH - I have worked with support for so long that I gave up. I have Netflix and Hulu but have had no issues with either of them.

I did try something different. I went out and bought an NEW LG 65" Nanocell 9 and guess what - the issue went away. Even though my Samsung 55" was on Vudu's list of compatible TVs, I changed TVs anyway. Now I have traded one problem for another. I no longer get the "Restoring secure network connection" anymore. Now my UHD movies keep buffering. I am trying to watch Venom but every minute the movie buffers.

After listening to Vudu's excuses for years now, I've had it. Anyone up for a class-action lawsuit?

I am having the same issue. I can watch the purchased movies so it has to be your service.

It got better over time but for the last week I get the error with HDX movies. Since I have 400+ movies on Vudu and do not have the option to move them to another service, a legal remedy may be required.
    Hi Dnorelius,

Have you worked with support to troubleshoot the issue as of yet? Does this error message dismiss on its own, or do you have to exit and re-enter the app in order to regain control? Do you see any network disconnects when using other apps on your TV?

If it's been happening for so long, it's more likely an problem with your ISP or modem. Might want to check if your modem is too restricted as far as the firewall is concerned.

What device are you using to stream when this happens?

If anyone is still experiencing this problem, I had the same issue on my Roku. My father began to create an account and never confirmed his email and it sort of locked it. I signed him out and signed into mine and got this same error. I rebooted the device, etc., etc.

I removed the Vudu channel and re-added if. This fixed my problem. It was as if his account was still sort of cached in the device.

    hope it helps someone

I had read that the Asus RT-N66u could have issues if the NVRAM is not reset after a firmware update and I know I've done several over time. This seems to have solved all my issues and even after restoring my settings, the problem hasn't returned.

I can now use vudu on my computers as well as my PS4 with no problem.

Thanks for the support from all involved. I don't think I ever heard the suggestion to reset the router to factory specs, but it's possible I missed it too. Anyway, if this isn't a part of your support suggestions, I would add it. It didn't seem like it should work only because literally no other service had any issue, but I can't argue with results!

I'm looking forward to actually using the service now, it looks really amazing on my PS4!

    Thanks again,
    Matt

Awesome, glad to hear it's working now, Matt!

I have to try my work PC, but my iPhone will actually play the SD versions with no problem. I have a few other devices to try, but I'm thinking it's probably a similar solution as what's stated here, with there being maybe an issue on my account?

I'll hit up support and see what happens.
