The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Are you sure it's not some other issue with your network? I have over seventy devices on my gigabit network. Including an LG player with VUDU and three VUDU boxes. I have no issues streaming multiple HDX titles concurrently and getting 3 HDX bars using my FiOS 35/35 connection.

    My network also has no difficulty getting 900mbs+ throughput with my Dlink Gigabit router.

      Yes I have the LG BD590 and never had a problem streaming HDX and this is on a 10/1-up Cable connection.

        Perhaps you are having trouble streaming because you are trying to stream VUDU HDX which is much higher bandwidth than anything Netflix offers (by a factor of 2 or 3). Try streaming VUDU HD which is comparable in quality to Netflix's highest offering, then see if you have the same problems? And compare the quality, too.

        My personal experiences with Comcast are terrible.
        1. They use centralized nameservers instead of localized name servers which confuse content delivery networks into using incorrect servers which are not located near the user.
        2. They have "powerboost" which doubles your bandwidth for a few seconds at the start of a transfer. This is great for increasing your "bandwidth" on a speed test, while you probably have much much less bandwidth than indicated actually available for prolonged streaming.
        3. Available bandwidth may be 1/4th or less of maximum during peak hours. And by "may", I mean "almost always is".

          On the issue of Vudu's not coming out with real info on Comcast, that would be foolish on their part. Vudu's survival may be on the line and to survive, you can't wimp out. But I'm thinking Vudu is the problem both technically and with being open about their current limitations. Kerry
          I don't understand the viciousness of your attack. "Vudu will be toast". I sincerely hope they lose you as a customer so we don't have to see your hate filled comments on this board. One crappy customer lost won't sink the company and many companies (even venerated Zappos) will 'fire' annoying customers.
