    Re: Merging Two Vudu Accounts

Policy has been changing on this.

They started limiting the amount of times this could be done.

You "should" get a warning if they think it's been abused and tell you last time.

The share library was introduced as way to get away from combining accounts.

eGift also allows you to have multiple (redemption) accounts and "buy" movies for a "main" account.

    Still always worth a call.

      Re: Merging Two Vudu Accounts

But the problem is that you can't share VUDU titles that aren't UV enabled... Right?

        Re: Merging Two Vudu Accounts

well if your accounts are merged all uv and non uv will be combined

I have contacted Vudu about merging my account with the account my wife accidentally created while converting our d2d. I was told that this was impossible because both accounts have d2d in them. Really? My wife accidentally creates this account, I have both logins and merging the account would make it so I could only do d2d on one account. Why would you not let a one time merge for a customer that made a mistake? Come on Vudu, you can do better.

Seriously Vudu, I have not been trying to abuse your system. Vudu has merged my accounts 3 times, thank you. Each time I would lose access to an email account, then later forget my password to vudu. I would open a new account and continue to buy movies. Then I would somehow miraculously recover my old email account, reset my old vudu password, and then have both vudu accounts merged. I was never just trying to get free movies from signing up however thats what happened once or twice because vudu happened to be giving away free movies at the time of signup. All I am asking is you do it one more time, i have this account with 473 movies, and another with 552 movies. Please Vudu stay ahead of the other tech companies, by not saying no to customers.

Last several times I ask it was a firm no. Haven?t heard about anyone getting it done for a long time.

Luckily, for me, UltraViolet who had ?also? stopped allowing merging accounts opened it one last time before shutting down and I was able to merge my UV (not Vudu) into one UV account and link that one UV account before shutdown. Now I have 98% all in one Vudu account.
