I did find that when using my PS3 and my BluRay player upstairs, there's no menu item to "log out" so I couldn't switch accounts even if I wanted to

It's odd the way they set up the app because if you decide to sell/recycle the BlueRay player for example, there isn't a way to remove the account information so you'd be vulnerable to having your account accessed by others.

A quick call to their customer service line seems to have solved the issue. They have a tech doing the merger now. I'm a happy boy!

Keep in mind the autofill feature of browsers, that's how I got tripped up.

I may be able to help. What is your case number?

I think it might be possible.
I think once a mod catches this thread they might be able to help.
Your probably going to have to submit a support ticket.

I may do that - I'm hoping they will get back to me . I went to Vudu on my PS3 and couldn't find any menu that allowed me to even log out of the account. At best the user interface vague; that is normally something that's prominently displayed.

It would mean that I could only access the older account with $200+ worth of James Bond movies via pad or computer

Whoops. I don't know if that is possible. However, you could ask for a refund, and then purchase again in your new account.

    Merging Two Vudu Accounts

    Hey folks!

I haven't heard back from Vudu when I sent in a ticket (so far) so I thought I'd ask here.

Back when Vudu first came out, I set up a trial account. After the free trial (under one email username), I let it lapse.

I got into Vudu and set up my account on my other email address (yes I forgot about the first one). So technically I have two accounts.

In a senior moment, I bought the James Bond collection with my older account...oops.

Rather than logging out and in to get to the other account with the Bond movies, is there a way to merge the older account (only has the 007 movies) with my newer account (which has all of my other vudu movies)?

    Thanks.
Working...
