    Re: Walmart.com and Instawatch

If you go to http://www.walmart.com/cp/Instawatch/1228693 there are some titles under "Best Sellers" all the way under the lengthy explanation of Instawatch, but if you click on the top "Introducing Instawatch" graphic, you'll see that on the next page the breadcrumbs say "Movies & TV > Instawatch > Watch Now", so all of those movies should be Instawatch according to Walmart's site, even though none of them have the logo on the product page that I could see.

I will give that a try. I've been doing this on the computer and it's really frustrating when it shouldn't be...

That is what I have been doing...I will give Jeff's idea a try and view it on my phone instead of the computer.

Yeah, no joy on either my Galaxy s4 or my iphone 4s. Guess I'll never see the logo. But, with that, looking thru the listings of instawatch movies, I can narrow down what to buy at Wal-Mart vs other retailers.

I didn't see any logo either, but at least there's an Instawatch section.

But, on a different note...I went by Wally World today and picked up 4 movies...all came over without an issue. All in HDx. I guess it works pretty good. $7.88 deals are great...

I can't go to Walmart without digging in the $7.88 Blu Ray bin.

It's an obsession. My wife just looked at me and asked "what are you doing?" Of course I replied.."nothing, just looking..." as I place 4 movies in the basket...

I love it when you have a movie in mind and you end up finding it. For months, I was hoping for Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption. I was very happy to find them there!

I went today and ended up digging through the $7.88 bin a bit myself. Nothing instawatch for me but I did find a copy of King Kong Vs. Godzilla Bd with the $8 Vudu credit on it. Couldn't pass that up. I really like that instawatch is allowing 3D copies. Now if only they would go on sale. I was fine with double dipping Dredd and Gamer since they were so cheap to begin with but I can't see myself paying $30+ just to get a 3D copy of Gravity or Godzilla.

I agree, but like I always say, they wouldn't charge $30+ if no one was paying it.

Where exactly are you looking for and what exactly does the logo look like? Not that I use it...I buy from Best Buy mostly but every once in a while I find something in the $7.88 bin I need.

Few of them ever seem to have the Instawatch logo

I just bought Justice League: Throne of Atlantis on Walmart.com. It doesn't have the Instawatch logo, but it IS listed under the 'Instawatch title available here: Shop now' banner. I sincerely hope it's instawatch because I picked the free shipping and it isn't supposed to arrive until Feb 3rd. I'd very much like to have it in my Vudu collection ASAP so I can watch it before then. I was planning to just go out to the store to grab it tomorrow, but with all the snow coming, I'd rather not leave the house.

In an ideal world, it'll be Instawatched to my account by tomorrow so that I can watch it while I'm snowed in. But that said, I've had yet for an Instawatch purchased on Walmart.com to work for me.

I take it back. No delay at all! No sooner had I written the previous post when it was in my collection!

They have issues with the instawatch banner. Particularly with pre-orders and early release movies. I find that if it's by one of the participating companies and is a pre-order it will work with instawatch regardless of banner.

How does Instawatch work with pre-orders?

I preordered a movie that is not listed as Instawatch, but every other movie from the same studio (A24) is. The movie is set for a 2/10 release.

Now when i bought Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, I made the purchase online the Monday night before the film's scheduled release date and yet the film was instantly added to my Vudu collection. No hesitation at all. I didn't even have to wait for a shipping notice. So when i placed the order for the 2/10 film (Laggies), I wasn't sure if I should expect it right away seeing as Throne of Atlantis was added the night before release date.

I'm wondering if it'll be added closer to release date.
