Thanks for the heads up. On the Roku, it does tell me that I own a few Warner titles to stream in UHD. However, it only lists HDX and standard up as an option. The Vudu app on Roku is set to 4K, and the Samsung TV is set to 4K HDR at 60 fps. It's a 2016 model TV, if I'm correct. 4K and HDR hasn't been a problem for me on Netflix or Amazon. Isn't this just an issue that several Samsung TV owners have had with Vudu?

I've done everything I know to do and Vudu doesn't play in UHD on my Samsung and Roku Premiere+ I've also tried all three HDMI ports.
I've tried the newest HDMI cable and like I said earlier, the tv flags HDR on amazon and Netflix.

I appreciate your help. Or is it just a wait for Vudu and Samsung to figure it out?

HDR+ mode is Samsung's fake HDR.

Did you turn on HDMI UHD Color for all the HDMI inputs from the main Picture -> Expert Settings menu?

Every UHD movie on Vudus catalogue is Dolby Vision. Since Samsung only does HDR-10, you're not going to get 4K on Vudu. Vudu has promised to implement HDR-10 in the future but we don't know when? The only device I know that will get Vudu 4K SDR is the Roku 4.

            39 UHD
            769 HDX
            2 SD

I'm getting rather impatient waiting for news on the the update. It's not like I can do anything but wait anyway, but I'd love to hear some news or an estimated release frame. FandangoNow is the only HDR10 compatible UV streaming app right now, and their selection is extremely limited.

He has a Roku Premiere+ which IS fully capable of 4K non-HDR.

Thanks for everyone's input. I was pretty sure I knew the answer, but I wanted to post on here to make sure. I guess at this point it's a waiting game between Samsung and Vudu.

Not to doubt you, but are you sure you own the film in UHD? IT says you only own HDX when UHD is available. Batman V. Superman doesn't redeem in UHD through VUDU.

Seems like a lot of customers are playing the waiting game.

I'm waiting on Google to update the Chromecast Ultra. Then I'll probably have to wait on VUDU to update their app. Whew!

So are you 100% sure you own that movie in UHD? At the top on image #3 is says YOU OWN HDX. It needs to say YOU OWN UHD. The boxes SD HDX UHD underneath are just the formats this movie is available in. I know, confusing.

Check your library on a computer to make sure UHD has a checkmark next to it.

An this title is notorious for only redeeming in HDX on Vudu rather than UHD.

I will somehow kick myself in the balls if that was mistake. However, I do own like two other UHD titles for sure, so I will check those tonight.

Yup. I believe this one only made it to Vudu in UHD if you redeemed on Flixster. It's a pain with UHD titles, as some redeem and others don't.

Ok, so I guess it's the Roku 4 and any 4k capable Roku forward...
